I recently purchased the Undercoat Rake for Cats & Small/Medium Dogs, and I’m very pleased with the results. This tool does an excellent job removing loose fur and tackling the undercoat without pulling or causing discomfort to my pet.
What I appreciate most is how gentle yet effective it is. My pet actually stays calm during grooming, which has not always been the case with other brushes I’ve tried. After just a few uses, I noticed significantly less shedding around the house, and my pet’s coat looks smoother and healthier.
The handle is comfortable to hold, making it easy to use for longer grooming sessions. It feels sturdy and well-made, so I expect it to last a long time.

I tried this brush out and its works amazingly on my long haired cat…was surprised to see
the amount of fur that came off her. The short haired cats enjoy it too but it’s not so effective on them. I find that the normal silicon scalp massager brush works great on the short haired cats, better than any of the existing cat brushes in the market. This brush is a 10. Works great on longer furred dogs too. Especially around the neck area.

Who would’ve thought such a lil nondescript brush would amaze me so much haha. My cat, Magnus (who I added I picture of just because he’s beautiful) has long, thick hair. He leaves it all around the house and I’ve tried three different brushes so far but none have been effective at all. Magnus has been coughing up excessive amounts of hairballs lately so I decided to try out a new brush. This product amazed me! I started brushing him inside but quickly had to move outside because so much fur was shedding. I’m extremely impressed with this brush and truly feel that my boy will benefit greatly from using this to brush and help him shed his coat. Only other thing to keep in mind is that it is deceptively sharp (as evidence by the Toy Story themed bandaid on my finger 😂) so just be careful not to cut yourself accidentally, and make sure to put the cover back on it when you’re done.

I’m gob smacked. I feel like a horrible fur baby mom🫤. She’s a 12 year old princess who has hated being brushed since day 1. She has that super soft, fine, long hair that floats in the air everywhere around the house. Her hair is the AMEX of fur (I never leave home without it). I get one of her fine hairs in my eye and it takes forever for me to get it out because a single hair is essentially invisible 🫥. I have tried so many different brushes over the years. The wire brushes collected the most hair but they scratch the skin and she would hiss at me after a few strokes because I was hurting her. The furminator became forgetinator, combs, horsehair and rubber brushes were tolerated because they gave her desireable scritches but did nothing for hair removal. I even tried the mitts with the rubber nubbies with the same results.
With the shedding season upon us, I started my annual hunt for a better solution. I dismissed rakes in the past because I thought the gaps between the teeth were too wide to be effective. I decided to take a chance and spend $20 on a this tool. Expecting it to be a waste of money, I quickly opened the package and sat down with my princess to get the disappointment over with.
I tested it on my arms and face moving it in all directions. I was happy to discover it felt awesome, like a great back scratcher! This tool required no pressure other than its own weight. The teeth easily sank into her coat and I literally GASPED as I pulled the tool through her coat. Immediately it started gently bringing out her undercoat. No pulling, tugging or cutting! NO HISSING , NO GROWLING! It found matts I missed but I didn’t remove the matts with this tool. She’s impatient with matt removal so I carefully snip those out. But holy hair Batman! No other tool I’ve tried in my combined 50 years of cat ownership has anything worked like this!
I have not compared this rake to others, but I have no reason to look elsewhere.
She likes belly rubs but only from my mother. She doesn’t like to cuddle or be touched. She only wants to be in the same room. In the past, when I forced her to stay for a brushing, it was never long before the hissing and growling started. Fortunately she’s not a biter or scratcher and we found a middle ground of acceptance.
This rake has allowed me to level up her quality of life and I will recommend it to all long haired cat owners. I tried this on my short-haired cats and after one stroke, they whip their head around to see what I was combing them with. And they could not get enough of it. The rate was successful and removing hair.
I hope this is helpful to anyone looking for an effective tool.

This brush is amazing! I finally got a thorough brushing of my longhair Scottish Fold. I use it on my shorthaired cat too and it is the best. It pulls the loose hair from underneath and not just the top. I was able to detangle some small knots as well. I am very glad I found this. More than worth the money.

This comb really gets through thick and long fur- hair, it removed the density of the hair/ fur without causing any discomfort.. it was easy to clean the comb if you couldn’t just shake the fur off the comb cover actually doubles up as a cleaner to protect your fingers from the sharp edges … I did find this seemed to make the length of my babies hair shorter and this wasn’t what I wanted I just wanted to removed the density. So just be careful with how much you comb/ brush it as you may find you remove more than wanted easily.
The design is good, it’s lightweight and easy to use, glides through the hair easily… I even tested in on my shorter hair cat and it didn’t remove any fur/ hair so it is obviously designed to know what it is doing

This thing is amazing! It works SO well on my long hair cat and she likes it. Only 4 stars though because I hate the handle. It’s not uncomfortable, but it’s not comfortable. And it’s too long which makes it harder to brush my cats belly without flipping her over (which she does not appreciate)

This cat deshedder/undercoat works amazing. My cat Bean hated the two other deshedders, which seemed to work okay, but I didn’t notice a huge difference in how much fur he was leaving on my bed on a daily basis. He doesn’t mind when I use this one because it’s quiet, and the teeth are rounded so they don’t scrape his skin. But something about the hooks makes it snag every loose hair, and he looks 2 pounds lighter after this first session. It got so much off him that I filled up the kitchen trash can like a foot. If you drag the rake about a 45° angle with the grain, it works amazing
