I have 1 bird feeder for 7 parakeets. They went right to the feeder and it works great. It most definitely keeps the seeds hulls and some seeds ( those they do not like) contained in catcher. The water dispenser works great but the basin get dirty daily and unit needs removal to clean. The capacity for both is very convenient.
