Have been using this water bowl in our chicken run all summer. Has quality materials and has performed well. Only reason for 4 stars is that the hose connection on the bowl side has had a leak since day one. Was only about a drip every 10 seconds at first which I could live with. But has progressively gotten worse. Tried teflon tape with no joy. Will reach out to the seller, but expect I’ll be on the hook to get a replacement hose.

After finding 2 bolts to mount this to our BBQ Island (bolts were not supplied) we hooked this up to a water line and let the dogs try it out.
The 2 of our 3 dogs were hesitant to try it out, but after we took their old bowl water dish away they used it just fine. Until our Lab puppy went to town on the supplied hose that is.
After replacing the hose at Home Depot, and taking steps to ensure the puppy couldn’t get to the raw hose any longer, this has been the best water dish for our dogs.
After it rains or any debris gets into the bowl, I some times have to push things out of the bowl, but the auto filling valve fills the dish back up just fine.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an automatic water dish for med to small dogs.
