I have an older horse I recently purchased that was never taught to hard tie. She pulls back repeatedly and breaks leads and halters. It is dangerous, but this blocker tie ring has helped (as well as additional training on giving to pressure). She is making good progress and is learning pulling back doesn’t mean she’s able to be free. It’s a useful tool to have in your toolbox. Easy to use!

I bought the 4 pack from Swess on Amazon first (second tie ring in video). The magnets were really loose and played alot so I went with this product, Martx, for my second purchase. And these are way better quality. You can see the difference in the video. They also have welds on the eye rings which is nice. The carabiner is the same but good quality. The value for money is good for the sturdiness of the product. Definitely worth it vs the other brands on Amazon.

These work great. Most of my horses just respect the light tension and don’t test it. I have one horse and a donkey who figured out they can pull a little harder to get out. All it takes is to add a little slop knot and it holds perfectly.

For about 1/2 the price of the original Blocker rings this will do. Doesn’t feel quite as heavy duty and the magnet is definitely not as strong, but I think it will be OK. Have only used a few times so far, we’ll see how it holds up.
