If you’re looking for a toy that can survive a large parrot… keep looking. If you’re looking for a toy your macaw will joyfully obliterate like it insulted his entire bloodline, this is the one.
The moment I hung it up, my macaw’s eyes lit up like he had just been handed the keys to a wrecking ball. The colorful wooden pieces? Gone. Pulverized. Reduced to confetti within a week. He didn’t just chew them — he celebrated their destruction. I’m pretty sure he thinks this toy is his personal stress‑relief program.
The good news? He absolutely loves it. The bad news? I now have a subscription‑level relationship with this toy because he demolishes it faster than I can reorder.
It’s bright, it’s fun, it’s sturdy enough to last longer than five minutes (which is saying something for a macaw), and it keeps him busy, happy, and feeling like the mighty lumberjack he believes he is.
Highly recommend — 10/10, my macaw is fulfilled, enriched, and leaving a trail of wooden carnage in his wake.

Honestly shocked at how big and full this toy is. My Indian Ringneck normally destroys toys in days, but this one is packed tight and has layers for them to work through. He spends forever shredding the wood blocks and foraging through the crinkle paper. It keeps him so engaged that he’s quieter during the day — which is a miracle. Great value for the size.

The main piece holding up the REST OF THE PRODUCT is wood. Parrots chew wood. My parrot chewed the main piece & the bulk of the product fell off. I used a strip of fabric to hang the product back up so my parrot could enjoy chewing up the rest of the wood & the corn cob pieces. Screwing the bulk of this product into a piece of easy-to-get-to chewable wood is a major flaw, IMO. Otherwise, my bird loved it!
