My parrot loves to untie knots, so most of the toys I get her have plenty of knots, like this one. She jumped on this right away and plays with it every day. The colorful rope and great design make it an attractive toy in her cage. I like to watch her enjoy her new possessions as she plays with them. This is a great one for the larger birds.

2 budgies love it

This shaggy, knotted rope toy is much larger than I expected. Still, my 4 budgerigars seem to enjoy it, and it should last a good long time. Looks nice, similar to other rope toys for small hookbills. Would buy again.

birds are happy they play with them for hours

Great toy. Parrot loved it.

I bought these before but this time a large meant enormous.

My new Timbrado canary immediately hopped up to check out what Momma put in his cage. He started tugging and mouthing/beaking the fibers. He came from a small cage with many other canaries. He has been sleeping next to a hard surface bell toy. I hope this soft toy becomes his substitute night time
security blanket.
Today is Friday. We got him Tuesday. He started singing within an hour of getting home. He doesn’t really need a security toy, but I want to spoil him.
Additional:
We have had our baby a couple of weeks now. He loves his “fuzzy.” He has manipulated the fibers to make a place to store and hide treats.
The color on the loose fibers has faded from the sun. You can see it in the second photo on the ends of the pink, yellow and blue threads. This makes me pleased that the dyes are genuinely nontoxic. Modern dyes have chemicals I wouldn’t want near my baby. I won’t feed him any food that has dyes, either.
Over a year later , Timmy Timbrado still loves his “fuzzy”. He had a foot problem, and actually sat on the “fuzzy” to sleep. I’m going to get him a new one. The old one is a bit grungy where he stores and eats his treats. I use a toothbrush on it weekly. I didn’t like how the toy looked after washing. Hopefully, he will take to a new one as much as the old one.

Buddy like picking at this, Its pretty big but its a good toy

This Kabob is awesome keeps my Cocatoo busy and this is his go to toy.
Rugged toy not easily decimated. Lasts about 2-3 months.
Going to buy the smaller version for my Eclectus parrot.
Husky mom –
I hung this next to my cockatiel’s food bowl and he picks at the strings and sits on it. Great size and he loves the color. The fibers don’t seem to be a choking hazard, and it’s easy to dust off.

Got this mainly for my CAG as a distraction for over preening. Works like a charm and keeps her entertained for most of the day. She and my Senegal love chewing on the knots and preening the strands. 1 toy usually lasts 3-4 weeks.

During mating season -He courts it and then you can guess what’s next… A new one is placed in his cage when out of mating season so he preens and sleeps on top of it. He doesn’t soil on it. He gets the largest kabob, it gets shredded as he yanks out threads one at a time for hours a day. It is used up in 3 months reduced to 1/4 its size it gets thrown away. It’s well worth it – my parrot does not like most of the expensive toys and he hardly feather plucks while preening this toy. The only caution is that his feet get tangled up once in a while in the loosened threads….check on your bird regularly for mishaps as you should always do. It has the potential for injury if you bird is very active with it. No stretch / sturdy for a African Gray to stand on has a heavy wire down the center /as the rope-threads and wood balls are preened/chewed they are destroyed but that is their purpose. chewing and tugging.

My bird will try to annihilate it. It looks like quite a challenge. That won’t stop. She is a little green cheek conure but she likes a challenge. Most birds are suspicious of a new toy. Not her, she got busy right away. That keeps her busy and out of trouble this one is lasting longer even though she works on it
