I’m very happy with this product works good for me and my group of birds.
I made my one quart water to 1/4 powder. Have 19 small and medium birds, so filled their water dishes half full and put the remaining 2 cups in refrigerator. Will use that on following day. I have 9 water dishes all together. Bird sizes are 5 zebra finches, 5 lady gouldian finches, 2 parakeets 3 love birds, 2 canaries,1 parrotlet, 1 cockatiel. Water dishes are 1/4 cup each for the small birds and 1/2 cup for the larger birds and they don’t go thru half a dish a day anyway. Nice cold water in summer is always nice. Hope that helps figure out how much you would need. The expiration date is on the side of the package. It’s just in small print.

I love my middle aged balding man, but he was plucking due to a skin and gut infection since he like to soak his crunchies in his water. 😑 Other than treating the infection with antibiotics I had to figure out a way to keep his gut healthy. Using this product and diluting apple cider vinegar with the mother in his drinking water helped add more positive bacteria in his gut according to the vet’s poo test.

Easy to mix and use. Our flock drank this easily without hesitation, so they must have been okay with the taste.
We used it when a few of the birds had a change in their droppings, and after use, it seems to have returned to normal.
I also use other products from this brand and have had great results with all.

Product (lot 1253) is severely mislabelled which is dangerous to birds. It says to use 1/4 tsp per oz of clean water. That would be 8 tsp per qt (32 oz).
From other lots, the correct concentration would be 1/4 tsp per qt of clean water. Please be aware for the safety of your birds. I’ve tried by email and phone to get through to the company, but no response.
