I purchased this for my turtle so that he can roam the yard and house, and it would be easy to find him. The bow is large enough so that birds cannot spot him, and he is easy to locate when I let him roam freely. I gave it 4 stars because it would be helpful to be able to cut both straps, but the Velcro attachment is only on the end of one of the straps, so it is uneven when you cut one side if too large.
