These are cute but a little bit small for my baby. I tried these on my Cayuga drake who has an injury and needs to stay in the house with me right now, but this didn’t quite go over his tail which didn’t seem super comfortable for him.
I think this would work really well on my runners, or call ducks, but definitely not on anything that’s medium or larger size – and definitely it would not work for a Muscovy.
That being said it did cover what it needed to, and I didn’t notice any leaking which is a plus for sure and the straps have multiple holes on it so you can hook them over the buttons shortening or lengthening the whole thing. So it is pretty customizable. I just need the actual tail part to be a little wider!
After this was soiled, I just rinsed it off and then threw it in the washing machine with a disinfectant cycle and put it in the dryer on low heat and it washed up fine, which is nice and it didn’t seem to cause any leaks.
Overall, if you have a duck that lives in the house or may need to come in the house when injured these are excellent to have on hand so you’re not going behind them with a towel cleaning up their liquidy droppings.
