Die Eier sind so erstaunlich! Wir hatten im Frühjahr ein Taubenpärchen, das bei uns gebrütet hat und die Kleinen sind auch wirklich ganz zauberhaft gewesen aber wir wussten schon, dass eine zweite Brut keine Option ist, da auch die Familienmitglieder gerne zurückkommen über die Jahre. So haben wir, als eines der Kinder ihr altes zu Hause als neue Brutstätte auserkoren hatte, die Eier mit den vorab schon gekauften Attrappen nach und nach ausgetauscht. Ich hielt beide in der Hand und sie waren rein von det Größe und vom Aussehen her identisch und auch vom Gewicht her gleich. Das eine war natürlich warm und das andere nicht… die Täubchen haben dennoch ein wunderschönes Nest gebaut und sich mit dem Brüten abgewechselt. Nachdem keine kleinen Täubchen geschlüpft waren, konnte ich nach einigen Wochen das Nest entfernen und habe unseren Balkon Taubensicher gemacht. Dennoch waren sie ziemlich entsetzt darüber, den wunderbaren Standort und natürlich vor allem ihre Babys zu verlieren. Sie kamen immer wieder angeflogen und haben gesucht. Da es Stadttauben waren, ist es vermutlich vernünftig gewesen, die weitere Vermehrung zu verhindern. Beim ersten Brüten hatten wir es nicht mitbekommen, da sie in einen leeren Topf unter dem Tisch gekrochen waren und wirklich auf kleinstem Raum die süßen Vögelchen großgezogen hatten. Also, die Eier sind super gut und funktionieren einwandfrei!

These work ok, there a little bigger than my frillback pigeons actual egg, she looked at it for a minute then continued incubating. So all is good. She was probably thinking I know what your doing human but whatever, I’m tired.

These pigeon eggs are very realistic. I haven’t had to clean them yet but when I do, it will be easy to do because of the material used on the outside of the egg. My pigeons have been sitting on them as if they are the real thing. I recommend these to anyone that wants to put them in their coop!

Years ago I had been taken over by pigeons and it was a nightmare, not even sure how I got them to move on, it was a many year battle, but I became pigeon free….UNTIL a few months ago, I saw a pair nesting on eggs in a corner of my yard, I knew I needed to start the fight early. These eggs look and feel exactly like their real eggs, though I hear they’ll lay on golf balls too, I didn’t want to risk it. They abandon the fake eggs after about 2.5 weeks, wash, rinse and repeat. After the 2nd time they decided to make a new nest in a place that was difficult for me to get to and monitor….so I decided to remove the eggs and net that area off…they just laid new eggs in their old nest…so glad I have these, very pleased with the purchase and impressed at how real they look and feel.

I have tiny bantam hens who love to hide their nests. When I do find where they’re laying and take the eggs they find somewhere new to hide them. Now when I find a nest I leave a couple of fake eggs in it and they keep on laying there. Problem solved!

It like like an egg and had the weight to it that it needs to feel like there’s something in it. Even if you don’t have a hen you can also use these as decorations if you’re making a diorama or something similar. They have texture on them so they don’t feel like smooth manufactured plastic, rather they have a surface texture which is mildly rough just like the real thing. If for some reason I need more than ten of these, or I lose the ones that I purchased, I’d buy these again.
