I did read reviews before buying, not knowing what to expect. But I must say that although this is not 100% perfect, it’s by far the best I’ve found for giving baby button quail water.
Yes it can run out of water, which I kind of fixed by creating a slight slope with some bedding.
Mine haven’t leaked so far, I purchased 2.
Few years ago I had been using hamster bottles. These tiny birds are not easy when it comes to give them food and water without risking killing them.
This is just perfect because they don’t get soaked, they can drink easily, and the capacity is also working until now for my 9 babies.

Too small, questionable materials, water barely comes out when needed.
Far too expensive for what you get. Far better to invest in food grade material and 3D print your own. There’s great free designs that use quart jars for reservoirs.

got this for my button quails. and yes, it was great for when they were newly hatched and super duper tiny. But, even with it level, it leaked a bit.

Quail are easy to drown in their water bowl if they have too much water so this item was perfect for our button babies! It was easy to put together. Easy to clean, and put out just the right amount of water. Great value for the price.

This works well but if you have it slightly off angle it floods… I had 6 babies lay on it (because that’s what baby quail do, go the way of the dodo bird) and I found them right at the last minute & blow dried them & they survived.

Seems to leak but can’t find from where. Closes tight. Maybe the young birds play in it. Very handy item for newly hatched birds. Not giving up on it. Probably me not putting it together correctly.

Absolutely love it not sure why other review bashes, this is perfect. The tiny button quail cannot reach the typical quail waterer. I had 6 buttons and a single mearn hatch a day apart so Im using the buttons to show the mearn the ropes and it is working out perfectly, everyone is happy and walking over the dish drinking. I clean out twice a day as it can get dirty, but there is not substitute it works perfectly and guarantees your high value birds see and can drink……… super important. Get your flock leader too and hydrate right, alternate w/ RO or mineral water, I dont use tap but I am bozo scientist…. with the healthiest and happiest of birds… : )
