WOW! This Yooso transport cage is by far the best I’ve seen. I’m a penny-pincher but it’s well worth the price to keep my 2 budgies safe while making trips to the veterinarian or moving around during hurricanes. It’s strong and sturdy, true stainless steel, easy enough to set up and fold away. The large door makes it easy for my birds to just jump in with no stress and off we go. It also comes with a gorgeous bag to store the cage in and to use later for bird supplies while staying at hotels. I’m very please with my purchase. Having wasted so much money in the past on other tiny cages that were just flimsy and we had to use ties everywhere because they were not very secure. But I am completely happy with this Yooso transport cage because as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for and then some, plus it should last forever. Note: Though I wouldn’t keep my budgies in there for long periods of time due to its size, so once we get to a hotel, I do have the Vivohome wrought iron travel cage as well for traveling, it’s large & comfortable enough for the birds to live in for a week or so. It’s also a great cage but much larger than this Yooso transport cage and I can store the Yooso cage into the Vivohome cage when not in use. Don’t hesitate to get this secure transport cage if you want to keep your babies safe. This one is not going to come apart while out and about. I just can’t say enough good things about this cage just that I love the security factor that it offers for my budgies and my peace of mind.

Though a bit pricey for its size, I am happy with this cage overall. It unfolds easily enough, even if it does take a bit of wrestling to get the ends into place. The locking mechanism seems firm enough, but I reinforced the corners with cable ties, just in case, as I do with any cage. The material seems good. I like the stainless steel bars and not having to worry about some coating chipping off. I wiped the bars down with alcohol as a precaution and the towel was not stained at all, so the bars were apparently clean. The door at one end is nice and big and will make it easy to get our cockatiels in and out. I bought this cage to be able to bring the birds outside for fresh air and sun–one bird at a time, as it’s really too small for two. I’d give the cage 5 stars, but for two factors: the price is high for a cage of this size and you only get one bowl for food or water. Birds need both.

For years I have been using a much larger cage to take my parrot to have his wings, nails and beak trimmed. It was frankly too heavy and awkward, and became a real pain in the a– to get it in and out of the car. After reviewing a bazillion different travel cages – mostly what I would call containers and not cages… I chose this one. I was very skeptical if it would be large enough to fit my Red Lord Amazon parrot – or if he was going to totally freak out when put inside it. I chose this one because it is an actual “cage”, and not a container – which I thought would make him feel trapped in a box. His “home” is in a large California cage with plenty of room. The picture of a bird inside the cage, used in this product’s ad…. is absolute CRAP. It is superimposed and not to scale at all. I had to go strictly by the dimensions listed. Luckily, it ended up being large enough for my parrot. I still have to “place” him into the cage, but he calmly walks out of it to go back into his main cage after returning home. I think with time, he will get into it on his own. He hasn’t freaked out being inside it, which was my big worry. I’m pretty certain that is because it is still a cage, which he is used to, and not a closed-in container of some sort with plastic sides. The cage is well made, simple to put up (simply raise up the attached together sides and click into place), has a plastic tray that is very easy to pull in and out to put paper on. While nice – I wont be using the sturdy bag that comes with it, nor the perch or containers. It’s strictly for periodic trips to the groomer and back. I don’t plan on folding it up to store it inbetween trips. The door simply unhooks from the top of the cage and leans down to be open. It is very light and has totally solved my problem with using the larger, heavier cage from before. I’ve attached some photos so you can have an accurate perspective of how large the cage is. I’m very happy with this purchase! I only wish I had purchased it way sooner!

I really like this travel cage for my lineolated parakeet. The perch isn’t sturdy though. I can hang a toy inside though, so its OK. Its easy to clean,collapse, and put back together.

This travel cage is perfect for my small bird. I got this cage for when we go visiting my sister! My bird loves it! Very strong. Great value for the money! Highly recommend!

Nice but small. Needed a travel cage for cockatiel to use on vacation. The travel backpack we have was more comfortable for my tiel than this cage. We used it but Marble did not approve.
The quality is good just need a larger option.
