I got this from my juvenile serama chickens which are roughly the size of a Cockatiel. It fit well, however I think the material is a little too thin and liquid could leak out. Plus, there is a raw seam on the inside where things could get stuck in. You’ll need to put a liner on the inside for it to be contained. Because of that, this just does not work for me. The material pattern is nice though. Just need to work a bit harder for a serious bird diaper.

My bestie has 2 conures and one keeps pooping everywhere so she always says ” if only there was such a thing as a diaper for birds” so then I came across this and got it right away. I love that its yellow as well because the one she needed it for is yellow.
Was the bird thrilled about the diaper you ask? No it was not but it fit her and it took her a long time to figure out how to pick it off.
The fabric is soft and the suspender parts are flexible. It closes via velcro.
Honestly I find this more of a gag gift that an actual diaper for birds though

There’s no getting used to this contraption, and my girl made that VERY clear. The moment I tried to put it on her, she looked at me like I’d lost my entire mind. “One size fits all”? Absolutely not. Maybe one size fits somebody’s bird… but not mine.
To be fair, the cotton is soft, the design is cute, and the Velcro makes it easy to get on — in theory. In reality, it was more like: Velcro on, bird off. Velcro on again, bird offended. Velcro off, bird victorious.
The diaper insert options are clever, and the elastic shoulders are supposed to help with fit, but let’s be honest: if the bird refuses to wear it, none of that matters.
Great idea. Terrible negotiation with the actual bird.

Unfortunately, I found these to be unusable.
I ordered them for a dove, but the sizing is completely inaccurate to the size chart. They are tiny.
The cut is not ideal either. I’ve tried different styles over the years and even if they were properly sized, I’m not convinced these would be the most comfortable for my birdie.

This bird diaper carrier and flight suit set is excellent! The reusable design with hook-and-loop closures makes it easy to put on and take off, and the adjustable straps ensure a snug, comfortable fit for my parrot.
The liners are absorbent and easy to clean, which is a huge plus for keeping things hygienic. My bird adapted quickly to wearing it, and it allows for safe flight or playtime without worrying about messes.
The bright yellow lemon color is cute and cheerful, and the quality feels durable for long-term use. Overall, this is a practical, well-made solution for parrot or cockatiel owners.

This bird diaper is incredibly average in quality. The material is soft and the designs on the fabric are pretty. It’s fairly thin and not waterproof. I do use a disposable panty liner in mine and would recommend doing so to help with cleaning. This bird diaper is more for a small to medium bird. I would recommend measuring your bird first. I don’t love the closure and find that it’s not extremely durable. This is another reason size is so important.

The construction of this flight suit/diaper is brilliant. It isn’t complicated and awkward to put on like other diapers I’ve tried on my bird. It simply goes between their legs and wraps around their tail with double sided velcro and the bib part had stretchy elastic that goes over their head and fastens to the tail velco. My cockatoo is on the smaller size and it fits her like it was custom made for her. I tried it on my bantam rooster but his tail is too full for the tail velcro to close and I also tried it on my bantam hen but her anatomy doesn’t work for the tail pouch/diaper diameter. If I added a strip of velcro it would work on her to expand the tail velcro to fit around the base of her tail, the actual size fits but the ‘waist” part I guess you could call it is too small for mini-chickens. Its pretty much ideal for smaller umbrella cockatoos.

This should work well once my husband’s Serama chickens grow a bit more. He wants to be able to let them sit on his shoulder, I don’t want birds loose in the house without protection, this was our compromise – though he isn’t keen on the cute little lemons for his roosters. Overall this seems to be fairly well made, I like the soft elastic that was used to go around the wings and the Velcro placement seems to be such that it will secure the suit without being uncomfortable for the bird. The construction also seems to allow for plenty of tail comfort while still making sure the part that needs covered, will stay covered. As you can see, the polyester lining is quite thing (you can see the back side of the lemon fabric through it in the 3rd photo) and the lemon fabric itself is quite thin – I’m thinking this is to cut down on weight so the bird accepts the suit more easily. I am a little skeptical about how well this will contain bird droppings even short term, however, several Serama groups have recommended adding a small piece of paper towel or feminine panty liner for extra protection and I can see that being an idea worth trying!
