This was a lifesaver. But galah throws pellets everywhere in a normal food bowl. We have tried other feeders to contain the mess but this is the only one that tightly secures to the side of a cage. He found all different ways to remove and throw other types we have tried. My husband was absolutely fed up with the mess so this saved the day.

They are beautiful and save a lot of time and effort. How ever with time water feeder started leaking. I fixed it by putting foam sealer to the bottom of the tray that holds the water bottle.

This bird food and water feeder is great in many ways. First, you can’t beat the convenience. We only have to change out the food for our parakeets once a week. And the food feeder design really does reduce the amount of mess the birds make when eating. It brings me peace of mind to know that they always have fresh food and water. Our birds live outside of their cages, but do go in them to eat and sometimes to sleep. We used to have a problem with them scattering seed and pellets all over, wasting food, and making huges messes. These little feeders really help. They are quite large, and hold a very good amount of both food and water. Compared to other options, these were affordably prices also. The biggest problem is with the water feeder. It’s very difficult to slide out the water dish piece, in order to clean it. I wouldn’t reccomend this for anyone who is elderly or who has poor hand strength. The water bottle also leaks onto the floor sometimes. And other times, something has gone wrong with the floating stopper ball inside of the water feeder, and it ended up blocking all of the water. So be careful and pay attention. You must still check on your birds every day and make sure they have food and water and that everything is working OK.

Easy of filling, sturdy, perfect size, so easy to clean and securing to cage was a breeze! Looks great and my parakeets love the feeder and water bottle dish!

I recommend highly especially the food dispenser, it has decreased much of the messiness of the cage! Make sure to not put any sitting perch above the water dispenser as birds can end up popping on it 😅

I initially thought I’d found the perfect solution to the mess my birds would make while feeding and drinking. Things were ok for about two weeks. Then the issues started with the water dispenser. If it wasn’t placed just right the water would leak out. I would test it after placing it. It seemed ok then I’d come back to a puddle on the floor. I started leaving a thick washcloth underneath the cage. Now come the seed dispenser. It was good for a couple of weeks, then I’d stop to check on them and the seed would have dropped out of the dispenser all over the floor and bottom of cage. I mean ALL of it. It kept happening so I just went back to old fashioned cups. A total waste of money!
