So Disappointed — Fell Apart in Just One Week!
I honestly can’t believe how poorly made this fly sheet is. It looked great out of the package, but after one week it was ripped and useless. My horse isn’t even rough — this thing just couldn’t handle normal wear at all. For the price, I expected way better quality.
It’s incredibly frustrating to spend this much money on something that doesn’t even last a few days. Total waste. Save yourself the trouble and look for a better brand — this one’s not worth it!

If you even wondered if fly sheets help, watch the video. The first few seconds is one of my horses without a sheet on, the remaining time is just a few minutes later with The Equinavia Brisk Fly Sheet on. That was the only change, no sprays, etc., just the fly sheet. The change in body language is huge. His tail is quiet, no skin shivers to shake off bugs, just a much happier, content horse.
And I am a happy owner because I was really impressed with this sheet. It is well constructed, easy to put on, not hot for him to wear, the hood easily detaches if I so choose, and it fits him well. He is a TWH, 16.2hh, and 1350 lbs. The sheet stays put on him and doesn’t slide back as he moves and snug up on the chest uncomfortably like some do. He does not sweat under it and seems to spend more time out of the loafing shed with it on versus standing in front of the barn fan most of the day. The mesh has stretch to it and he moves freely in it. All the straps have adequate adjustment for his size, the initial part of the hind leg straps are elastic with the remaining being a soft webbing. The neck fits well along the withers, no pulling in that area. All areas in contact with the horse’s skin is soft and non-irritating.
I am so pleased with it I ordered on for my other horse in the video who came up and asked where his is! He has a fly sheet but it does not fit as nicely as this one.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Haven’t had much luck with fit and durability, especially will pasture-mate who pulls on masks and blankets so I went for price and design.
Comfort:
Mule doesnt seem to mind even though it binds at her chest.
Flies prevention:
Still keeps flies off except where it slides down mules neck.
Fit:
As with most fly sheets, it slides back and binds at my mules narrow chest.
Durability:
Holding up quite well on mule in turnout with others. Has snagged a bit of neck on the fence but did not create large tear. No damage to actual sheet do far.
Collar quality:
I’m glad that fence snags have given way without major tear.

Horse people know that horses can get out of anything, or tear things apart pretty easily. Though my horse tore up the neck piece, the sheet has remained in good shape and works well. My only issue is the velcro under the front attachment. (Small square piece on the inside front). It did not stick well and then became covered in horse hair and then didn’t stick at all. I had to remove it because it was rubbing against his chest and causing irritation. This either needs better velcro there, or a different solution for keeping the front closed at the overlap.
