This and maybe a separate bag of seeds is all my bird likes to eat lol. Usually I buy the huge bags since they be on sale but when not I find it no problem to buy these smaller ones as they last a good 2months before I have to go back to petco. I never had a problem with the freshness on this brand. Colors are always bright and the variety is plenty. I definitely recommend for medium to large size birds. Good value

I have been purchasing this product for many years for my blue and gold macaw. The name of this product is big bites specifically for macaws. However, recently there has been an over abundance of dried peas and the food. My macaw will not eat the peas. My pigeon also will not eat the peas. There are so many that I can feel it. Fill an entire large bowl with them within a weeks time. So I give this to the possums come into our yard and squirrels. You are entirely too many peas in this food please improve it.
