I recently purchased this tiny portable fan to use with my bird’s backpack, and I couldn’t be happier with it! My bird tends to get a little warm on walks when it’s hot out, so having a way to provide some airflow is a game-changer.
The fan came fully charged and was ready to use right out of the box, which was a huge plus. Bought to keep airflow moving in my bird carrier. Seemed pretty cheap when I got it, but it worked so I went with it… Used it once, and the next time I went to use it, nothing. I tried recharging it, thinking maybe it had just run down while not in use, but nothing happened. Now I can’t return it because it’s outside the return window, but I hope I can save someone else from buying 2…

I bought this to keep my cat cool in her backpack carrier when we go on walks. This works perfectly for that, now i dont need to worry about her overheating!

The fan functions fine. I like that it has different speeds and it has good air flow. Even the first speed is pretty breezy. I got it to fit in my globe backpack but it is extremely hard to get in and out of the pouch. Which makes it difficult to get it out to charge or to change the speed. The battery part is what I have the most trouble with getting through. But I guess at least it’ll never fall out. The size was expected just didn’t fit. It does keep my bird comfortable with the weather getting warmer.

I received this for my backpack that carries my cockatiel named Duke. I highly recommend this fan and it charges very well.
It’s easy to use and it fits in the pocket on the side of the backpack. It also makes sure that the bird has fresh air constantly. What I’ve noticed with this domed backpack is that there is a bit of a plastic smell involved that can be a little overwhelming. If you place the fan on the side pocket and put it on low. It blows fresh air through the backpack, allowing your pet to have comfort, and coolness, no matter where you go.
Note, I would pay attention to the temperature of the day. If it’s too cold outside, you can give your bird or pet a chill. So always be aware that a draft can work against you. That being said, I use this fan every single time I put my bird in its carrier to guarantee that he has the fresh air he deserves and fit’s so easy in the side pocket. Charges in about an hour with a 20 watt charger. Faster if you have a 60 watt

Fan arrived right on time in good condition with appropriate packing stuff. It’s cute and light weight, yet sturdy and powerful. We’re using this fan for the cat carrier it’s intended for and considering a second, as well as one or two for ourselves! Why should the cat get all the comforts? Will update after the real test, tomorrow…
UPDATE** (Apologies on taking so long) This fan has proven invaluable to our kitty. It improves airflow in almost any backpack-type pet carrier, and by a *lot*! Having the mini fan made it possible for Tedward to accompany my wife and I on several outings, and a trip to the vet’s was much more comfortable for him! It’s so light and quiet no one even noticed it till we showed them how we keep him cool.
Bottom line, this fan does exactly what it is designed for and does it well. Tedward gives it five paws of approval.
