- This stretch mane protector covers the horse’s head and neck completely down to the chest and shoulder and protects the forelock and mane.
- The stretch material provides outstanding flexibility and freedom along with a perfect fit. It stretches easily to fit the horse’s body without impairing ease of movement, thus staying securely right where it’s supposed to.
- With a soft fleece trim around the nose for added protection. The Hood is comfortable to wear without chafing or pressure.
- Cut generously and protects like a second skin. A clever, high-quality zip closure ensures easy on and off. You’ll save time and provide your horse with utmost comfort, with the certainty that he’s protected from head to shoulders.
- This mane protector is cut like a vest in the shoulder area for comfort and so that it can be put on and taken off easily. The adjustable girth can be closed with little effort and can be individually adapted to the horse’s body. The girth keeps the hood from sliding forwards. It also ensures that this stretchy mane protector sits correctly and stays where it should for longer periods.

Nice hood, but my gelding shredded it in a week

Fit my chunky Haflinger Gypsy cross perfectly!

Was definitely too small for my 15hh QH. Tight above his eyes (right on the bone) and where it latches was like right in his armpit and I had no extra room to pull it back. Went to look to see if there was an XL because it IS some nice fabric but unfortunately this is the largest size.

Fits well on top but is a little tight on bottom

The vet needed to put in a SPL line so we could administer eye drops frequently. I bought three different brands of neck slinkies that I could get overnight. This was the best quality one (and cost less) than the other and the Large actually fit my thick/wide chested mare. It does bunch up a little, not tight around her neck but that works perfect for our needs. I think I would have preferred a full zip but we aren’t taking off/on frequently so once one it stays in place. Some reviews complain about the buckle placement but it doesn’t seem to bother or rub her. Been on 3 days and it’s holding up to light turnout. Will order another!

Es de buena calidad y se ajusta perfecto

Quality seems great, but sizing is off. I bought a medium for a horse who is 14.1 hands and it’s really small on him across his chest and not quite long enough. The buckle hits in a super strange spot as well.

La qualité est bonne mais beaucoup plus petit que la description. Un large ne fait pas à mon poulain Quarter Horse de 3 ans
