My birds loved this. Its the toy the use to play with most. The ball fell off but it’s understandable since my birds chew on everything.

This is Birdo’s favorite toy. He loves to play with it: he shoots, he scores with the ball! When he was sick and needed medicine, he preferred to eat it out if the net. There is no hole in the very bottom of the net.

Ive bought 2 of these basketball toys for my cockatiels, and both only lasted a day. My birds broke the ball off its chain in hours. Now, they’re just a small mirror with a hoop and a dangling chain.

It is very tiny and flimsy. My parrot easily cut the ball from the chain. This product it self is so small in size that the bird could not enjoy seeing the mirror. Waste of money. It is like a very small toy

This toy is hilarious! I was a little skeptical that our budgies would play with it since they don’t really know any tricks and tend to be skeptical of new additions to their home setup. The size is perfect for small birds like parakeets/budgies. Within minutes of adding it in their cage, they were taking the ball and instant slam dunk pros! We love watching their hoop dreams become reality!

My birds have loved this toy! They love to pick up the ball and toss it around, and they like to perch on the goal as well.
My cockatiel is a constant destroyer of this toy though (Ainz is great at disconnecting the ball and chain). That is the part that keeps breaking. So, just be aware that will be the break point (and not the basket). It typically lasts me about a month before it breaks.
I highly recommend it though. All of my birds love this toy. The highest mileage tends to be for the smaller birds (like my parakeets), so I would keep that in mind. I would not buy this for any bird larger than a cockatiel as it is barely size appropriate for them. I would love to see some larger sizes or more enforced areas at the common break points (the chain to the ball connection…it might just need a stronger plastic used there?). I will continue to buy these as I need to refresh the cage as I like this particular interactive toy by the company

I bought this as an impulse buy and was so surprised that my cockatiels actually play with it! I’ve seen them playing with it a few times in person and have noticed that while I’m gone the ball is either in the hoop or out (the opposite of how it had been before I left). It’s also just super cute even if they don’t actively play with it.

My one budgie loves putting the ball in the basket and back out. She’s always like those sort of games. My other budgie isn’t as interested in it but enjoys perching on the side and looking in the mirror.
Definitely glad I bought it. Knew ahead of time my girl would like it as she would put hanging rings so they hooked onto the a small perch.
