The artificial grass on the ramp is helpful in enabling my pet to climb up onto the level section of the platform above the water line. The ramp is better than other ramps made of slippery styrofoam or plastic. I also like how far the ramp extends in the water before the final level part of the landing platform. It’s a great size for my small turtle. However, I agree with other commentators that the first part of the ramp is too steep. If not for the buoyancy that my pet has in the water and the artificial grass the platform would be too difficult to access. Keedolla – hey, fix this.

The platform is decent quality and my turtle likes basking on it, but it’s definitely smaller than expected. Even though I ordered the medium size, it feels more like a “small.” If you have a larger turtle, I’d recommend sizing up. The suction cups hold well, and the artificial grass looks nice, but just be aware of the size before purchasing.

This was purchased for our turtle tank which has a medium sized and a larger sized turtle. The medium sized turtle will be able to get onto the platform and the larger one will be able to rest his upper body on it comfortably. The big boy keeps taking the prime basking spots so this will give out little guy a place for himself

Works suction holds on glass comes with extra also , the only thing is that the greenery on the item sheds apart like fabric and it’s scary because it’s plastic fake grass

Prewash and air blow dry on cold to blow out the weak plastics green straws. Let plastics in your water. Might invest in going to a dollar store and buy cheap functioning cups. These don’t last long and turtles get fat fast.

My turtle loves this platform and basks on it regularly. No visible damage from usage, the filter in the tank runs all the time but haven’t noticed any fake green grass falling apart from the platform. So far so good. Super easy to assemble, color is vibrant green and fits the tank perfectly. Great for smaller and middle size turtles.

This product is a huge disappointment! I was so excited about having a little platform for my sweet turtle to bask on, under his heat lamp, but as soon as it got wet, the carpet started falling apart. I rinsed it with hot water before I ever put it into my Turtle’s tank, patted the plastic carpet dry so it wouldn’t drip, from the sink to the tank, and fibers from the carpet came off onto the towel. I didn’t even rub it…I PATTED it to soak up the water. After I hung it in the tank, I held onto the edges to straighten it out, and the backing for the plastic carpet flaked off on my fingers, like the back of a rug flakes and crumbles. It did it IN THE TANK! I had to take it out and immediately change the water in the tank. So…not only did I waste my time filling the tank to begin with, but I wasted the chemicals I have to use to condition the water so it’s safe for my Turtle. The fibers that came off of the carpet, fell off in single strands. They were floating in the water. They could’ve choked my Turtle, if I hadn’t seen them. Not only that, but the fibers AND the pieces of the backing of the carpet would’ve plugged up the pump and filter…another expense to replace those things, if I hadn’t seen the crumbles. I am NOT happy with this product and am questioning the competency of the Quality Control Team that inspected AND OKAYED this product! DO NOT purchase this ramp. It’s dangerous for your pet!!!
