The item seems to perform well. The birds were quick to adapt and go into the cage. I like that it has a larger feeding bin. there seemed to be minimal mess after they have been feeding for sometime. the packing was substandard. it arrived with this flimsy film plastic that was hard to remove. they also screwed the screw in on top of the and it was hard to dig out the plastic from the screw. in addition, they has zero instructions on how to install or operate the item. i had to go back to the item online and look at photos. is it that difficult to print out on a sheet and include it in the box?

My doves went into this immediately. It’s a GAME CHANGER!!! Keeps the seeds inside less mess to clean up.

Great people to deal with. Good product.

I wanted a seed cube but it would have been $175 for a large with shipping. This seems like a sturdy little gadget. It doesn’t seem very easy to clean. I hope it works out well, I got two large ones for the sun conure I don’t have yet.

The media could not be loaded.
We bought this to stop our sun conure from flicking his pellets everywhere (sun conures are notorious for doing this). This has stopped him from wasting a lot of food. He’s not that bright so it took him about 24hrs to work out how to get inside the box (he kept trying to go through the walls where the food is and only then he worked it out after watching our lorikeet go inside) but the box itself works. It would be good if the top flipped open but it serves its purpose, looks like the photos and seems robust none the less.
It’s big enough for two parrots around the size of a sun conure but more comfortable for one. I suggest one box per medium sized parrot if you have more than one.

This is pretty nice. It’ll keep all the mess inside so the conures don’t throw it on the floor. Two things tho… no instructions tho it is fairly easy to install and the perch is a little far back for the birds to stand on and reach into the food. Regardless I’ll get a second one for my dusky conjure.

So much better than the food bowls and the food getting plinked everywhere! I do wish the top was slanted so the birds didnt stand on top of them and poop on it but its alright. The cages are much cleaner and no food is wasted! You can hook it to the inside OR outside of the cage with 2 different sets of metal hooks that cone with it.

Excellent design, saves a lot of mess, birds love it, highly recommend it, thanks.

Winston Churchill was upset at first that we moved all his seed to this, but in less than an hour, he was in there eating. This product has already decreased the mess he makes (he likes to kick his seed just for fun). Definitely worth the price.

Perfect for less clean up of scattered feed. Very sturdy and well built. Easy to clean. Can be set up inside the cage or outside the cage. Birds love it.
Edward Walkos –
Product feels and looks of very high quality. The only issue that Nino, my love bird, has claustrophobia and does not like closed places. So, we had to remove the metal stand, and put the food in both compartment so he does not need to go totally inside to eat. He is okay with it now : )

I’ve had mine for about a month now, and it was finally totally successful yesterday. When I first added it to my grey’s cage, Sammy tried to destroy it. People who have greys are familiar with them tearing things apart, and this additional room to his cage was attacked in the first hour. He failed at trying to destroy it, and it continues to have his attention.
At first he wouldn’t eat from it. I tried various things, fruits, nuts, seeds, pellets—nothing tempted him to go inside. A couple of days later he would grab something and eat it outside. Later he would sit at the entrance and grab things. The addition of peanuts won him over.
Peanuts are a special food to greys, because they can tear off the shell, then shred the shell to a find power, and finally (maybe) eat the peanut. Peanuts are not his favorite food, but he really does like playing with them. Then, I put the peanuts in the back tray, and the room became a place he actually uses. He goes inside, forages for his favorite of the moment, and enjoys his adventures.
I think the initial reluctance was the clear bottom and sides. That confused him and made him feel vulnerable to the other critters in the house. After a month of patiently feeding him both in the new room and in his usual food bowl, I can claim success.
The really great thing is that the mess he makes is confined inside the new room. He can’t sling shells, chunks of green beans, smashed carrots, or pellets halfway across the room. I can leave some of the shells in the feeder so he can tear them into smaller pieces, and he loves doing that. The room itself (at least so far) has resisted his efforts to destroy it.
Simple idea, well made, and for my bird, a success.

Great investment. Had tried multiple ways to lessen the mess our cockatiel makes. This has been perfect, she took to it no problems. Sturdy and well made and easy to put together.
