If, like most people who have small birds, your cage bars are spaced at .5 inches, this product’s .625 water reservoir will not fit. This means it can’t be mounted on the outside of the cage, which is why I bought them. Also, the clip is loose and has to be held in place so wider spaced bars would make it worse. Ultimately, I mounted them entirely on the outside of the cage to be used when I let my birds out each day. I added a star because the 8 oz capacity is good when you have several birds. Check the spacing on your cage before you buy these.

I love these water silo for my birds. The only problem I had with the first order is 2 of them came cracked and I needed them badly so I used them anyways and when I came back in the room all the water had drained out and was all over the floor. Hope my next order gets here uncracked.

Excellent product! Worth every penny. Simple to use, clean process, simple installation and doesn’t clutter the cage.
This is a winner.
Would not recommend this size for larger beak birds due to the smaller dispenser. I use for finch and lovebirds.
