I purchased this for my cat after a surgery which left her with a fairly large incision on her side, behind her armpit. Because of the location, I couldn’t use the tank top style recovery suits available; I needed sleeves.
This shirt has been a huge help in keeping her away from her stitches. It is stretchy & seems to be a comfortable fit which is not too tight. She is able to move around with no problems and it’s long enough so she is unable to pull it up/off & bother her stitches (even though it doesn’t snap around the back legs to secure it, like the recovery suits).
This beats the cone of shame any day and is a great option for anyone looking for a post-surgery option for their cat with an injury on their upper body or back.

I got this for my boy that has a rare skin condition to try to protect himself from accidental over grooming and to help some hot spots heal up. He’s a (I think) medium sized cat, a healthy 12 lbs. I tried the medium shirt in blue first and it fit but was a little snug with a decent amount of stretch (not tight but more like a slim fit). I tried the large orange stripe next and it was too long though fit much better in the arms and chest. It’s a well made shirt and feels like a nice t-shirt quality, one that I’d actually wear. It is lightweight and good for the summertime. My cat did act like he couldn’t walk for 5 minutes after I put it on him, but that’s because he’s a weird cat. After that, he was able to move around fine.

This cat shirt is just what my cat needed! She was licking a spot on her armpit and she licked it until she became bald. I was looking for something lightweight but still durable and this was it! I like that it is a shirt so it doesn’t disturb her when she has to use the bathroom. My cat doesn’t try to escape clothes that fit her well so I’m not sure if I can review about that. I believe the long sleeves is what make it stay in place better. The shirt is soft and washes very well. I would say that this shirt would not be a good fit if you are looking for something on the thicker side.

Super cute sweater ! I needed something asap for a kitten I rescued from outside. Unfortunately we had to shave her as she was completely matted and needed something to hide the ridiculous haircut I had to give her.
