The base needs to be about 4 inches longer. Most people are probably going to use this by sliding the base under their tank/habitat, but the base isn’t long enough to give the stand enough sturdiness to work well. The manufacturer needs to make the base longer and wider to fit the intended use. Giving it 3 stars because it was relatively easy to set up and technically does work.

Soooo worth it! Would gladly buy more in the future if I wanted to be able to adjust the height on my light bulb dome fixtures! Stability is debatable for me since cord management plays a factor to the stand. But the stand does come with hooks for 1 lamp…if you’re running a dual dome set up, you may want to look into zip ties or gear ties to wrap your cords neater for management. It’s pretty sturdy for the price and extremely easy to assembly.
I initially thought the adjustment capabilities on it were trash, but my dumb butt reversed the main pole and was able to shorten my dome RIGHT over the basking spot of my terrarium!

This is completely metal and structurally sound. It slips under the tank is is held tight! We use it to support a double bulb heat lamp on our turtle tank. Heat lamps scare me as a fire hazard so this makes me feel a lot better knowing that they cant fall off the tank. The stand feels secure, durable and adjustable enough for a lot of different tank sizes. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the little welded metal clips to hold the cord really doesn’t hold them well. The cords fall right out of them with the slightest movement. i ended up using a few zip ties instead. But, I’d still recommend it and would buy it again tomorrow.

This is easy to put together. Once it is set up, just be careful because the sections can come apart fairly easy when moving it around. It is a good solution to keep the heat lamp set up safe.

Got this for baby boy Wonton (baby western hognose) it was really easy to assemble. Its stable and doesnt wobble, and i love that I can adjust the size so it’ll sit exactly where I want it! So far it’s working great and was definitely worth the money.

El poste principal sale de la base y se balancea. Le tuve que poner unas gomitas en la parte de abajo que afortunadamente tenía por ahí para que no se cayera. Buenos materiales, el que lo diseñó se ve que nunca lo ha utilizado . Si no te quieres meter a arreglarlo busca otra marca

I use these for my ceramic heat emitters. These are of good quality and very easy to setup. I feel like these made my heat lamps much safer by getting them off the top of my enclosures. The adjustable height makes it easy to get the temperatures right and make adjustment.
