Love it. Its great. I use to leave the garage open a bit, but stray cats would come in and spray and eat my cats food. Now my cats can come and go without unwanted stray visits.

This is a game changer! We don’t have the kind of door you can put a pet door in, so we would keep the back door open all the time. It took the cats maybe two days to figure out how to come in and out, but now they are pros. It is very quiet and I don’t even realize they have left or come back most of the time. It is made of real glass and is very sturdy. We take it out each night and put it back in the morning with no problems.

This would work great for a double-hung window. It didn’t work for mine, which is a sideways slider. My plan was to put this across the whole width of the window, and put a custom sized screen above that. And that would have worked, but what was not clear was that the slider basically doubles the thickness of the window where the panes overlap. And although the track is wide enough to hold the window (I measured carefully), I did not know that the doubling would make this impossible to use. It’s a heavy window, well built, and in the right window, I’m sure you’ll be please with it.

How I got this for my girlfriend, she was telling me that she needed a cat door and that it could fit on this window. I got my tape measure from my iPhone. It was actually the with an length that we needed, but it helped
The cat door is pretty safe and easy to use to make sure that your cats have a way to allow themselves to get used to it at first. Quality and design is pretty good. It’s metal. It’s actual glass. The knobs on it are pretty sturdy. Yes they may look at it and be like there is a door now so they may get confused with the other side being so clear but make sure they can have access to it like I have a chair and they can climb in and out.
The flap closes 9 out of 10 times! Saves energy!
