I got this for my son’s syrian hamster to be transported home and to vet visits if needed. It is as well built as one of my cat’s backpacks, and my 11lb bengal actually did climb in the side door and fit his whole body in there happily. That tells me the bag is sturdy. I don’t love the bottom panel because it doens’t lay flush with the botom so for a hamster it isn’t ideal, but it is easily removable. I am a little concerned about the size of the air holes but for a syrian full grown it should be a safe size they can’t get stuck in. Overall for my purposes it is little questionable on appropriateness but for a slightly larger pet I think it is well made and offers good breathablity and access to pet them and get them in and out.

I was delighted when I saw this carrier because I haven’t been able to find a carrier that was big enough but obviously not too big for my guinea pig. It is comfortable for her and I like that it provides a safe way to take her places. I that it is see through as well and I can keep a close eye on her. It’s well made and is comfortable to wear on my shoulders, as well.

There’s a reason this is priced very low.. it’s because they are very poorly made and floppy. It doesn’t come together well when you zip it. The bottom pad is like a cardboard insert feel. It doesn’t sit when the dome front is closed. The side door is extremely hard to zip and unzip and the big front holes are in approximately sized for most animals small enough to fit in this. I expected them to at least try.

We actually use this for my conure. The small pet carriers you usually find don’t have textured bottoms. And I have been afraid when she gets off balance and tumbles over from the car ride even with a towel to stand on- it’s just not solid enough. And I fear her beak getting damaged so this has been useful. I can also carry her on my back and hold her sister in my hands. She’s a cockatiel who has much better control of her body, I’ve never seen her fall over during transit like my conure very very very often does lol.
It’s easy enough to clean. I’m sure it will eventually get real dirty and I’ll have to figure out what to do as you can’t really wash the dome. Probably a soak in the bath. It travels well and the size is perfect. It’s got decent ventilation and the design is easy to use.
