My horse loves it only problem is my puppy likes it to and has punctured it due to her hearding nipping at heals instinct even with cover on

Today I was letting my horse play with the Weaver ball and we had literally only been using it for maybe 5 minutes and she just barely snagged it with her hoof and tore a huge hole in it. Absolutely not worth your money. This stupid ball costs nearly 40 dollars whereas a regular exercise ball costs less than 10. It wasn’t even mine and now I’m stuck paying a ridiculous price for such a poor quality “horse ball”.

I purchased the Stacy Westfall ball (the blue medium sized one) in January 2013. (I did not buy it from Amazon, although I would have if i’d known it was here, as it’s cheaper than where I bought it).
My mini horse loves to play with balls. He had already gone thru several plain exercise balls. He unfortunately is a biter, and no ball I bought for him lasted over a week or two at most. I always made sure I took them away from him every night, checked the air faithfully so it wouldn’t be easy for him to bite, but eventually he’d bite a hole in it. I researched & bought this Stacy Westfall, (a $50 ball) against my better judgement, as I had given up ever finding a good hard sturdy pucture-resistant horse ball. I thought because it was so expensive, surely its going to be more durable & last alot longer than my plain ‘ol $8 fitness balls from walmart. Well, sure enough my worst fears came true. This $50 ball only lasted 3 DAYS before he bit an inch long hole in it! This after only letting him play with it a couple hours each day, and checking for the correct inflation every day. VERY disappointed in this ball. My recommendation is if you have a biter like I do, don’t buy into these expensive balls being puncture/bite-proof. I’ve resorted to just buying a cheapo fitness ball every other month or so, and let him play with it for a day or two. Honestly, the cheap balls actually lasted LONGER than this one!

The ball popped in less than a week. I loved the size but the quality is very poor.
