I ordered this to use as the humid hide for my leopard gecko enclosure. It was recommended to me, so I knew it would be a good quality. This hide exceeded my expectations. It’s solid and sturdy. The hide is large enough to fit an adult leopard gecko easily. The top is easy to remove and I added some moss (and misted) inside to help the humidity. The price is a bit high for me, but definitely worth it for the quality. Overall this is a great buy and I highly recommend.

My gecko absolutely adores this hideout! She spends a significant amount of time inside, basking in its cozy interior which I lined with sphagnum moss. The spacious and well-designed entry points allow for easy access, and I often catch her peeking out, giving me a glimpse of her adorable face.
The hideout’s durable construction ensures it stands up to my gecko’s curious explorations. It has proven to be a reliable addition to her habitat, providing her with a secure space to rest and unwind.
However, I must admit that sometimes I wish she didn’t love it so much! As a gecko owner, I enjoy observing her activities in the cage, and her frequent use of the hideout occasionally makes it challenging to catch a glimpse of her when she’s inside.

I got it for my crested gecko. He loves it. I got a small for him. he goes on top of it behind it and inside it. he does like to do funny tricks on it! it broke when we first got it, but we just hot glued .smells funny in there.all sizes are really big .and he goes in it right away.

My 5-year-old male ball python LOVES this. Filled with slightly moistened sphagnum moss, it works wonders for his shedding and looks soooo pretty in the terrarium. We have the large exo terra tank and there is plenty of room for this on the warm side, a different hide on the cool side, a large water dish, and other items for texture, interest, etc. It has a nice weight too, and the lid fits on very well. No worries about it being bumped and falling on the little guy’s head.

When it first came it seemed a little small, but my regular sized Leopard Gecko loves it! I also thought he was going to be upset with me for changing his hide but he took to it immediately. I use spagnum moss inside and it keeps moisture well enough, with a hole in the bottom to drain excess. It is easy to clean and looks amazing in his tank!

I love these rock lairs for reptiles because it’s a perfect humidity hide. Add some moss to the inside and you’re good to go! Also, the way it’s designed makes it darker and much more private than other hides, which I think all reptiles appreciate (and prefer!). The top comes off for easy access which is the best! Every reptile I’ve owned got one of these rock lairs. It always becomes the favorite! I just added it to my new leopard gecko’s tank. She loves it so much!

I got the medium size for my African fat tailed gecko. She’s fairly small but it’s a perfect fit and she can fully turn around in it without trouble. She had a really hard time shedding her skin on her feet so I wanted to try out this product. The safest material for fat tailed geckos is wet paper towels, so that is the humidity substrate I use and it works really well. The towels stay wet and ever since the first time she shed after purchasing this, she’s had zero trouble with her sheds! I am very happy that the rock itself (both lid and bottom) are very sturdy, they do not connect magnetically like I’ve seen similar products do but all the same are very Secure and there’s no way she could take the lid off or knock it off in any way. She is a big climber too so she is also very happy to climb on top of this rock and it’s short enough where I don’t have to worry about her falling and hurting herself! It has a rough texture outside to help if she needs to rub on something to shed. And the inside is perfectly smooth didn’t have to sand it down at all! It’s super easy to clean as well! Over all I really love this product and so does my girl!

Love it! It’s made of thick, sturdy material, blends well with the rest of the tank, and my nearly 1 year old ball python fits perfectly – I got the large size and he’s probably like 24-26 inches thereabouts. He went inside of it within minutes of me putting it inside the tank. I placed moist sphagnum moss in there and he’s about to shed so this will be a great hideout to help him prepare for it.
