I have a picky 20lb miniature schnauzer who typically only likes chicken jerky type treats, so I wasn’t sure how receptive he’d be to these Wellness Old Mother Hubbard Milk Bar P’Nutty B-Day Party Treats.
For being marketed for a small dog, I was kind of surprised how big the treats were. My simple fix was going to be snapping them in half with my hands, but they are also a lot harder than I expected them to be. I had to get “the man of the house” to break them for me.
When I first ordered this bag, I was wondering what they used to make the so called icing on the treats. After reading their ingredient list, I have a feeling it’s yogurt. As for the other ingredients, I’m pretty happy with what is used. The one that makes me wonder a little is sugar seeing as it’s the second ingredient on the list, but it is a treat so I guess it’s ok in moderation.
As for the taste, turns out my pup loves these. I have a feeling the peanut butter, chicken fat, and sugar have a lot to do with that though.
Overall I am glad I ordered these Wellness Old Mother Hubbard Milk Bar P’Nutty B-Day Party Treats for my pup to try. They’re a quality treat made with easy to understand/read ingredients that my pup enjoys from time to time. Not to mention the resealable bag to keep them fresh is a bonus too. I just wish they were a little softer and maybe a little smaller than they are.

These are very cute little treats, and they smell good! I kind of want to try one myself, lol. My dog really likes them. I give him at least 1 per day and he always comes running when he hears the bag opening. They’re crunchy and dry with a hard frosting on one side that looks like it could possibly be sweet. The ingredients are simple and have been very gentle on his stomach, no digestive issues at all to report. We love and trust the Wellness brand and would absolutely order these again in the future! We do recommend them!

Okay well all three of my dogs absolutely snack on these. Which is interesting because it’s not like all of them. Quite enjoy things that resemble cookies yet these are a hit. One thing to notice it is surprisingly designed to be very hard so they will be left chewing on it for a bit. And I wouldn’t necessarily say that these are the healthiest treats so you should treat it as just that, a treat and not something where they overindulge. The appearance of the bag is cute. Add the cookies themselves are visually appealing to the point where even I would want to try it out. No stomach issues or side effects to report. I’d say these are of good quality and I could easily recommend this.

We have 3 big dogs and love giving them occasional treats. I’m a big fan of Wellness Old Mother Hubbard brand and I recently had the opportunity to order and try their Milk Bar P’Nutty B-Day Party treats with our dogs. These are technically made for small dogs, but since we only give them a small treat on occasion, they are perfect for our big dogs too. And, they actually aren’t that small. These are pretty cute with their little bone shapes and dog icing on top. Ingredient wise, I appreciate that these are made with such wholesome ingredients like crunchy peanut butter, apples, carrots, molasses, wheat flour, eggs, dried yogurt and more. These are dry and crunchy in texture. They do have sugar as a top ingredient. Even though the ingredients sound great (and are), I half expected them to smell like cookies but they don’t. They smell exactly like dog treats. They must taste great to dogs because ours are devouring them and begging for more. I love that they are low in calories and have some protein. Overall, these are healthy enough for them and I feel good about giving them to our pups in small doses. It’s fun that these tie into Wellness’ brands 100th birthday and are great for celebrations or anyday just because. These are nice quality, obviously delicious to dogs treats that are super affordable at $5.99 for a generously sized 10 ounce bag.

My dog is a weird one, she is honestly unbothered by most treats and seems to prefer her boring dry dogfood over them. She really could care less….which was awful when trying to potty train her because I couldn’t use treats as a reward!!!
That said, she go absolutely crazy for these treats! It smells like a sweeter peanut butter flavor and apparently that is the spot for her, because she devours these!

I’ve had a good experience with these treats overall. The ingredients seem solid, and most importantly, they didn’t upset my dogs’ stomachs at all which is always a top priority for me. That said, they are definitely on the harder side. My dogs enjoyed them, but I could see these being difficult for smaller dogs or older dogs with dental issues to chew comfortably. If your dog has strong teeth, they’ll probably do just fine, but it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, a good option if your dog tolerates crunchy treats well, but maybe not the best choice for seniors or dogs who need softer snacks.

These are great treats for any dog but they are certainly not the healthiest so they are not every day treats (in my opinion). My Welsh Terrier loves these treats and rightfully so, because they look almost like a real cookie. As a once in a while treat, she gets one of these but because of all of the ingredients that I don’t believe dogs are meant to consume, I don’t give these often. These are a pretty good value for how many you get. I just wish the ingredients were a little healthier (my dog is prone to being overweight so she can’t afford treats that have so many ingredients like these). Again, if you are strictly looking for a nice treat a dog might like at a good value then I’d absolutely recommend these! If you are looking for an every day treat, I’d look for something a little healthier.
