So I wish this was a little more efficient to use. I can fill it up and in a day it gets icky. It’s a pain in the butt to screw and unscrew daily to change the water. The balls are not really bird safe, my African grey got his toe stuck in one on the first day and he broke the other in pieces to get the bell out.

Just what the title says. The scale of the birds and balls in the photo compared to the size of the tub is not true-to-life. I have two small parakeets and they cannot be in the tub together. The double-screw attachment design is really cumbersome to get onto a cage–especially if there’s water in the tub–unless you’ve got a second person to help you.

Peeka was born with a genetic malformation of her feet that prohibits her from perching. The bird “boat” makes it possible for her to sleep in a comfortable position. I stretched a footie over the top and it provides a trampoline like surface that takes the pressure of standing off of her little legs.
