I have a very messy Crested gecko who loves to stomp around his food dish and having these disposable cups comes in handy! His water is always gross in the morning because he stomps food in it and now I can just swap out to a fresh cup in seconds!!! It has made my Cresties life and my life easier by far. He gets fresh water and food in these beautiful cups and I get easier cleanup! They are also true to size and fit a few different feeding ledges I own! Just swap and enjoy. 🙂

These are great little cups for gecko feeding. They are easy to clean up and can be composted as well. They come in sleeve packages to keep them from getting dirty or wet. I really like this due to all of my gecko’s items being under his stand and his mister can go a bit nuts at times lol. They will not fit a standard hanging shelf feeder. But can be used for ground feeding or placed with in the plants if there is a sturdy spot to do so. Great product. 10/10

These biodegradable Crested Gecko food cups have been a game changer for me. While I have a system in place for cleaning and reusing my gecko food cups — complete with a stop at the dubia bin for them to finish any leftovers, a soak in chlorhexidine and drying time — I’m also human. Some weeks I’m just too busy or too lazy that. With 8 cresties, two leachies, and a handful of other lizards to feed, these cups make life a lot easier.
They fit perfectly on standard feeding ledges and hold a good amount of food. For my leachies, they’re a great size, though a bit large for my cresties. I just add a little extra food, and let the tank’s isopod and micro roach clean up crew handle the rest. These cups have also come in handy for feeding my hermit crabs messy foods like brine shrimp, krill, and thawed pinkies. They hold up well even with the moister, messier foods.
Overall, these cups are a solid solution for those busy days or weeks when I don’t have time to clean my more eco-friendly cups. They’re convenient, durable, and get the job done. And I don’t hate myself for filling the landfill with unnecessary plastic.

I would love to be the type of person who cleans and reuses gecko food cups, but it’s gross and I never end up doing it. These paper-based cups are a great alternative. They fit in the magnetic feeding ledge I already have and I can chuck the dirty cup into my cleanup crew tank the next day with no guilt. The other difference to be aware of is that these cups absorb a bit more moisture, both from the food and the tank environment. The paste diet seems to dry out a little faster in these, but that’s easily countered by mixing it with a bit more water to begin with.

Works great without soaking through and I feel much better using single use containers when I’m not adding to the plastic problem. Just make sure that you have the right size for your cup holder and you’ll be set!
