great product I got two of them installed just werid sometimes the water keeps filling up slowly then overflows leaving water all over my sunroom then next day the water will be at mid level like normal the other side stays at same level all the time .. maybe one of them was defective or something but does help a lot in keeping fresh water for my pets

Great idea but it the realization of it left a lot to be desired. Why do these manufacturers not get better specs to get the fittings right? The float and the fittings leaked both leaked. Also the cheap plastic threads are easily damaged. I have already spent an additional twenty or so dollars to for the fittings to adapt. Now looking at buying a better float. This has increased the price of this thing quite a bit. So it wasn’t worth any savings. Buy one with good reviews or be prepared to spend money to make it work like it needs to. If it weren’t used and dirty, I would return it.

Funciona muy bien, corta el flujo justo en el ajuste que se le aplique al flotador.

This float works great. I’ve tried various versions, but this one seems to be the most reliable. I use it in my backyard water fountain. The fountain has a 12 gallon above ground base, and then brass cups that are spaced vertically above the base. (I got it from a well-known big box store.) I attached the float to an empty water jug, and weighted the jug with rocks so that the float is at the right height. Water is gravity fed from a rainwater barrel, so this float is perfect for maintaining just enough water for the pump without overflowing.

I can’t seem to keep the float in place so that it won’t run over and then we have water everywhere in the backyard. I love the idea and I love the bowl, it’s really well-made. I love the hose. I’m just frustrated with the float right now. I’m sure it’s simple and there’s just something I don’t get, so I’m going to keep trying, but I’ve got it on reserved to return it if I can’t get it to work.

So simple to install! Adjusting the height of the float is easy. Installing these were the easiest part of the whole project!
