Bought these for my 5-year-old who’s obsessed with bugs right now. He clips them on his baseball cap when we’re outside and thinks it’s hilarious. The dragonflies actually bounce around pretty realistically when he runs around, which keeps him entertained for hours.
I was worried the clips wouldn’t hold up, but the stainless steel ones are solid. We’ve clipped them on hats, his backpack, even the patio umbrella. They stay put. The colors are bright – we got blue, red, green, and yellow. He likes mixing and matching them.
They’ve been through rain a couple times and still look fine. The wings are some kind of plastic that doesn’t seem to fade or crack. For the price, you get 4 dragonflies, so plenty to share with friends or lose a few without worrying.
Only thing is they’re a bit big if you’re thinking tiny decorations, but for outdoor use they’re perfect. Would definitely buy again – thinking about grabbing another set for his birthday party favors.

These are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something to help with the wasp problem near my back door but didn’t want to use sprays or chemicals. These dragonfly clips do the trick, or at least I think they do—I’ve seen way fewer wasps since I put them up. They look really natural in the garden, and the clip design is super convenient. You can move them around easily. Only downside is I wish the pack had more because I want to cover more areas. Definitely recommend if you want a natural-looking solution.

Okay so I was skeptical about the whole “keeps bugs away” thing, but I figured they’d at least look nice. Turns out, I’ve noticed fewer flies and wasps near my herb garden since putting these up. They clip on really easily—I have them on my plant stakes, the edge of my planter boxes, even one on my porch railing. They’ve held up great in the weather. My only suggestion would be to offer different colors or sizes, because I’d definitely buy more.

I was skeptical, not gonna lie. Bought these after another boarder at the barn mentioned them. My mare gets really agitated by flies in the summer, constantly head-tossing and stomping. I clipped three of these to her browband and one near her ears, and I swear she’s been way more relaxed during our trail rides.
I can’t say the flies are completely gone, but there’s definitely less swarming around her head. The clips stay put pretty well even when she’s moving around, though one did fall off when she rolled in the pasture (my fault for not securing it tight enough). The colors are bright and the wings catch the light, which I think is part of what makes them work.
My only suggestion would be to make the clip opening a bit wider. It was a little tricky getting them onto the thicker part of the bridle leather. Maybe include a couple different clip sizes in the pack? But honestly, for the price and the peace of mind, I’m really happy. Already ordered another set to keep as backups. If you have horses or spend time outside, just try them. Worst case, they’re cute decorations.

Okay so I was skeptical but my neighbor had these on her tomato plants and swore by them. I’ve got a wasp problem every summer on my back deck and I’m tired of the sprays. Put about 6 of these around my patio furniture and hanging baskets last week. Wasps definitely seem confused? Like they fly up, see these guys, and just… leave. Could be coincidence but I’m not complaining. They’re cute too, my 4-year-old calls them the “dragon guards.” Clips are strong, survived a thunderstorm no problem. Worth a shot if you’re dealing with the same thing.
