These gloves are very high quality, however, they will not stop a Cockatiel from biting you. They do help a lot but I gave 4 stars because…………… see Photo……….yeah thats from bleeding. Now I dont mind and dont blame the gloves. Just letting you know that you may want to get cotton gloves to go under these if your bird is a biter or if you are using them for training. The construction and material of the gloves however is great. The birds have bitten at it and have not bitten off any pieces. While my photo may seem like I am knocking them. I posted it, More as a WARNING that they do not protect 100% and a painful bite is possible. Great product. I do recommend figuring out which color your bird is less scared of prior to purchasing because some birds prefer the white gloves while others prefer the black pair. I recommend this product

I have a baby ferret learning to be handled and these are a finger and hand savers! Love these and really recommend. They work very well. They keep my fingers from getting bitten.

The glove is exactly what I needed to help train my parakeet. My parakeet really wants to bite and with the glove on it helps. He doesn’t bite near his much and I think I am teaching him a lot easier with using the glove. It is a little big for me since I am a woman. But it definitely does the job.
