Product fit easily inside a brooding box only. Would not recommend for an outside area. It is sturdy enough for chicks up to 6 weeks. Very easy to assemble but not as easy to clean, just as any untreated wood is.

It seems well built but it’s pretty tiny. My chicks didn’t use it when they were very young because they were busy huddling under the heat lamp and when they got bigger they were actually too big to really utilize the perch.
I’m giving it 2 stars because it seemed well-built but I would give it zero stars because it’s kind of useless.
