My main complaint is that there’s not more information that I can find about what this is made out of other than “mineral material.” I got these for use with rodents, so I do have to be mindful about things like calcium intake. These don’t tend to crumble, though, and they’re pretty tough. They’re denser than some other pumice stones I have but still fairly lightweight, and they stay together better, so I’m not worried about my critters grinding one of these totally to dust and swallowing a whole bunch all at once. I’ve had one in their cage for about a week and they do chew at it, but they really haven’t made too much of a dent on the edges.
These are cute! The fun shape and the soft colors definitely give these a more aesthetically appealing look to them than the name brand lava ledges. The price and their sizes are roughly comparable, too. They’re big enough to be a decent sitting ledge for my degus.
The hardware these come with is good quality stainless steel.
Overall, I’m satisfied. These have been a pretty good addition to the cage.

I’m really impressed with these calcium perches. They’re great quality and really thick, so I know they’ll last… and they’ll work for most birds. They’d be perfect for big and birds sharpening their beaks, but my teeny little zebra finches love using them as a platform perch they have plenty of room on it for resting and just hopping all around. They’re super easy to clean (I use an old toothbrush!) and they clamp really well to the bigger bars of a flight cage. Because these are thicker and heavier than most toys, they come with very big washers to help support them. The bright gradient colors are too cute, they look like little ice cream cones and they’re a nice touch for enrichment. These are a fantastic choice for any bird lover!

I was pleased when I received these while they’re listed as rough stone, they don’t feel horribly abrasive to my fingers, so I wasn’t afraid of hurting my birds by putting them in their cages. One bird loves it, the other has yet to even approach. It makes for a good experiment — will they help with grinding down the nails? I will know better in a couple of months when I would generally take them in for filing, if the one who loves the perch doesn’t need filing as soon as the one who’s avoiding it.

My pair of cockatiels approve of this perch/chew. The material feels very much like a pumice stone, so I have to hope that it will help their nails and beak.
These are easy to install using the standard washer/nut installation. They fit tightly on the cage to provide a stable surface. These are fairly large. If I make them sit flat/wide, then my birds will perch on them while they gnaw. This means that they will also poop on them quite a bit, so I have opted to put one sideways and have the other hang down from the top.
Sturdiness
I’m able to get a sturdy fit in either option.
Both of my birds seem to love these. The colors are fun without being obnoxious, and my birds seem drawn to chewing on them.

Bought this mineral tree perch for my two parakeets. It comes in a two-pack. One in light blue and the other in light green. It’s a decent sized perch (4″L x 3″W x 1″D) that installs pretty easy in the bird cage. It comes with the standard wing-nut and washer installation method. Just put it in the cage and screw the wing-nut on with you fingers. It took a couple of days for my birds to warm up to it but soon after, they were grinding their beaks and claws on it. Unfortunately they were also using it as a bathroom. That’s when I decided to install it vertically. It still allows them to perch on it and enjoy their grinding duties but now, there’s not much space for them to poop on it anymore.
I also love that fact that the perch is made of natural materials as opposed to artificial ones. This perch is a good size for small to medium birds. Larger birds can probably use it too though I’m sure they’ll go through it at a much quicker pace. Since I have two small parakeets, this two-pack mineral tree perch should last a long time! Pretty good value for the price!

These Rodizoo bird perches arrived very quickly and well packaged in a giftable box.
The perches come with all the hardware needed to install to your bird cage. The quality is very good and does not flake everywhere like some of the cheaper perches. These perch are great for all size and types of parrots and smaller birds.
I love both colors and they look much better in person. The texture is very nice for the birds and I feel they won’t grind them down as quickly as some other perches.
Attaching to the cage is extremely easy and self explanatory since you will slide one disk on the perch, then insert the perch inside the cage, slide the second disc from the outside of the cage into the perch, twist the locking nut with your fingers until it’s tight and you’re finished.
These perches are quality made with pleasant colors that won’t scare your birds. They are a great value and a healthy choice for your feathered babies to groom their beak and nails.

I didn’t realize these would be so huge when I got them. They are perfect for my Cockatiels, who I sat one on right away and she started gnawing on it. Unlike what a few people put this isn’t for sharpening a birds beak or claws, but it’s for ensuring they get proper minerals and calcium into their systems. They also aren’t a bird perch as another reviewer wrote…what’s next are people going to think these are birdie cellphones? For their huge size these are a really good value as well.
