Its great for my bird’s beak but he won’t let me near his feet with it.
I can see a noticeable difference in the health of my parrot’s beak, where areas that were patchy in colour are uniform again after two weeks of application.
There is no scent and the texture of the balm is smooth and easily spreadable between your fingers.
It is safe for the bird to ‘sample’ but obviously don’t let them eat it like a snack.
My parrot is overly cautious of new things so this took some warming up to but he was fine once I applied it. He didn’t seem to care one way or another that its there, though I apply it thinly.
I recommend it for parrot owners who want to go the extra mile, or have parrots that struggle with aspects of grooming.

Great product. Worked to help our budgies beaks who were becoming brittle from a medicine they had to take. We saw improvements almost immediately.

This bird beak moisturizer works well for canaries and easy to use. Great value and product.

Best thing I could get for my conures! I have been looking for something to get their beaks moisturized since they tend to have some cracks (superficial), since they grow and get worn all the time (its as our nails, same material). This one is great. Barely any odor (specially good, since birds are very sensitive to odors) and the quality of it is consistent and the color when its on the jar is kind of white, however on your fingers it disappears and is transparent. The good thing is its not greasy and dissolves and gets absorbed quickly. There is tons in the container, giving you great value for the money. My conures liked it on their beaks, but they did fight me a lot to put it on their nails, I guess that will depend on your bird’s personality on how easy they let you put it on them. But once one, takes some rubbing on their beaks and disappeared quickly and left them moisturized, I’m applying it daily!

I’ve seen videos of people massaging parrots beaks with oil. So when I had the opportunity to try this beak balm I took a chance. I was amazed. My two conures both loved it. They sat still, raised their beaks, and rolled their eyes back like they were in heaven. If I knew they enjoyed it so much, I would have been using this stuff for years (my birds are over 20 years old).
This beak balm is odorless and tasteless and contains only ingredients safe for birds and humans. I’m going to try it on their feet next.

Never in a million years would I have imagined getting balm for a bird. But here we are. I took my grandson to a place where they had budgies, and weeks later he just had have some. He’s been great with his budgies but it’s a learning process and they’re becoming fast friends. Now he uses this balm on the budgies feet more as a way to have contact and spend time with it. I like that it’s light, so it’s not going to get smeared into anything my grandson touches on the way to his feet balming daily task. Obviously I like that it’s non toxic. And he swears the feet are clear skin and smooth now.

I’m please with the consistency of this balm. Its much lighter than petroleum jelly and seems to absorb relatively quickly, it’s also completely unscented. My friend’s African Gray goes through bouts of time where she pulls out her feathers and all that plucking makes her skin less protected so it dries out. Peanut doesn’t seem bothered by the balm when we apply it. She doesn’t go after the area after we apply it either. While it hasn’t been a cure all, even with a little time, it seems like it’s starting to make a difference in the dryness of her skin.
