I really liked this product that fits my cockatiel. I have been able to take him everywhere even in the rain (pacific north west area), thanks to the plastic cover. Easy to get the food in and out even with the bird inside, and not likely to drop food or water when changing it. If it’s night, I can also quickly zip the transparent side for him to sleep.

I bought this for traveling with my quaker parrot, it is small for her she has a lot of issues turning around inside of it, it’s ok for a quick trip or a quick walk but not good for long travel distance

Overall Quality and Assembly
This bird carrying back backpack works nicely and is easy to assemble. The zippers work very well and smoothly, but I did have one instance where the clear flap zipper separated and I had to rezip that part to fix it.
Design and Features
The pack offers great design features for security, visibility, and ventilation:
Capacity & Sizing Tip: This backpack will hold budgies and other small birds, but also birds not too much bigger than a sun conure. Measure the height of your bird(s) before purchasing, as the perch is placed about halfway up the backpack, which limits vertical space.
Waste Collection Tray: The pack has a tray at the bottom for you to put walnut shells or paper in to help catch bird waste, making clean-up easier.
Ventilation: The pack also has air holes (two on each side) for your bird(s) to get air.
Straps: The straps are secure and comfortable for the wearer.
Viewing Flap: The ability to leave the outer flap open so your bird(s) can see out is nice, or you can close the flap to keep them from seeing out if they are nervous pets.
Perch: The perch is thick, which I suppose is for bigger birds. I have budgies, and they can still hold on to the perch, but it would be nice to have an extra, not-as-thick perch to swap out. However, this one works fine.
Important Safety and Assembly Note
Be careful to ensure that the clip for the food bowls is on the perch snugly and all the way on. If the clip slips off, you might send the bird food bowls and food on a flight of their own!
Versatility and Climate Warning
This pack is great if you have to travel and don’t want to bring a full cage, or for just outings with your pet(s).
⚠️ Climate Warning: Be aware not to expose your bird(s) to cold climates, or avoid taking them out in the winter altogether if your birds are tropical.
Training Tip
To get them used to the bag, place them in for short times to start with, increasing the time limit after they begin getting used to the shorter times.
