I bought this Cat Carrying Case Pet Dog Carrier Soft-Sided Cat Bag and overall it’s really well made. The material feels sturdy and durable, and the inside is soft and comfortable for pets. The color is also really nice in person — just as pictured.
My main note would be the size. My cat was only about 3 months old in the photo, and she was already getting close to the height limit when the carrier was fully closed. So while it works great for smaller pets or short trips, it may not be ideal as they grow.
What I liked:
Very durable and well-constructed.
Soft, comfortable interior.
Nice color and appearance.
Super easy to assemble.
Easy to tote around .
Stays upright holding position.
Things to consider:
Runs on the smaller side
May be outgrown quickly depending on your pet
I’d recommend this for kittens or smaller pets, but if your pet is growing quickly or already on the larger side, you may want to size up.

This is a great carrier. My cat did well on a 4 hour car ride. She seemed comfortable. It’s also strong enough for her to sit on (she’s a 4lb kitten) and it does not squish down. It does smell chemically when you first get it out. I put it in my garage for a week before using it and it died down. Other than that, it was very easy to put together.

Over the past 2 years we’ve ended up adopting 12 feral kittens from three different litters that were born in our garden. We decided to take on the responsibility of spaying and neutering them all at the appropriate times, but were only allowed to take in two at a time. We already had one soft sided carrier and we had to borrow the second from a neighbor (who also adopted several of the neighborhood feral cats). I felt it was time for us to buy our own second carrier, so I chose this one.
Although we’ve done a great job of socializing these kittens, all who live outside, we were still concerned how they would react being caught and popped into a carrier. This carrier made it easy for us to pop them in from the top and easily close the zipper, then when they came back from their surgery, it was easy to let them out from the side. We also liked that while in the car, they could see us and each other through the mesh, which I’m sure must have made them a little less afraid. The mesh is also good in our hot Florida climate. When we took them into the vet’s office, we noticed everyone else had a hard-sided carrier, which would have made it more difficult to deal with our previously feral cats, so we’re glad we have this.
The carpet insert makes it more comfortable for them and is removable and washable. The carrier also folds up when not in use, which is another advantage over the hard-sided carriers.
Our kittens were all about 5lbs at the time of their vet visit and the size (17x11x11) was very ample for giving them room to move around. I’m sure it will also be fine when they grow. The price at $19.99 is very decent. I would definitely recommend this carrier.

This is the perfect lightweight carrier for a smaller adult cat. My cat, who hates riding in a carrier, seemed to feel safer in this one, because she could see out on all sides and the top. It has a nice pad that comes out and also a detachable shoulder strap that makes it more comfortable for carrying. I would definitely purchase this again, and the price was well worth it for the sturdy build.

This carrier is perfect for my cat. Very nicely made. Love that it can be opened from the top or sides. Inside has a nice soft padding, and the padding cover is able to removed and washed. Great buy for the price. Handles are stitched really well.

This is the best little carrier! It’s just great for my puppy. Very sturdy and easy to put together. All you do is pull it up and put the bottom in and you’re ready to go! It has two side zippers and one on the top. Very sturdy and convenient!!

I prefer the soft carriers as they are lighter. I specifically needed a more sturdy one cuz I have some chunckier cats. This was a good price and seems good. The only thing was the zipper issues. Things seem to fold back making the zipping annoying. You have to roll it back to zip up. Maybe over time if it stayed zipped up it would stay. Hard to explain until you see it.

I stressed for days about getting my two cats back into our hard-sided cat carriers when it was time to go home from our camping vacation until I saw an ad for a mesh carrier. It was the perfect solution and I will never use anything else.
PROS:
1. The mesh on the top and sides allows your cat to look around and see you, which is comforting, and more importantly keeps the carrier from getting too hot inside.
2. When not in use this carrier folds flat and is easy to store. The hard-sided carriers took up so much room when not in use and they became dirty and dusty between uses.
3. This carrier opens from the top or from either end and has a shoulder strap should you need to tote it to your car or the vet’s office, etc.
4. Great quality, design and colors. The bedding insert is removeable and can be washed in a garment bag in the machine. Comes out like new. (Of course remove the supporting board first.)
TIPS:
1. As with any carrier my cat fought me when I tried to put her inside, stretching out all four legs and trying to get away. Solution: I grabbed a bath towel and wrapped it around her from head to tail, like a kitty taco. I immediately set her inside the carrier, keeping one hand under her to keep the towel secure and using my other hand to zip up the top, gradually removing my hand and the towel.
2. As soon as you put the carrier in the car, make sure you secure it with a seatbelt. When I started the car she freaked out, trying to get out of the carrier. Both she (and the carrier) rolled partially off the seat, scaring her even more and causing her to urinate. Omg.
3. The carrier is washable (thank goodness) but not waterproof, meaning if your cat has an accident it will not only soak the carrier but the seat or floor in your car as well. So definitely put plastic or a waterproof pad under the carrier. You can clean the exterior of the carrier by hand or, in my case, set it in the bathtub with a combination of water, D*wn dish soap, white vinegar and baking soda.
4. My cats are about 17″ long (from head to butt) and weigh around 25 lbs., and the X-Large carrier was the perfect size, leaving them enough room to move around or sleep.
This carrier turned out to be any cat owner’s best friend (and the least stressful for your cat). A++
