great sturdy product, better fitting with the 2 ear holes, I like the double velcro also as it makes it more difficult to remove for those horses that like to scratch on just about everything. Made this fly season easier on two and four legged critters

Wir haben für unsere Pferde schon so einige Masken ausprobiert. Diese ist mit Abstand die Beste. Der Schnitt und das Material sind perfekt, daher können unsere Pferde diese Maske oft rund um die Uhr tragen. Bei Regen trocknet das Material sehr schnell und durch einen Elastikeinsatz am Klettverschluss, schneidet die Maske auch nicht bei Kaubewegungen ein. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und können diese Maske nur empfehlen.
Für unsere Arabofriesenstute haben wir die Größe HORSE gewählt, für unsere Anglo-Araberstute (deren Kopf ein bisschen kleiner ist) die Größe ARAB/SMALL QUARTER. Sie passen wunderbar.

Well constructed fly mask. The colt/mini size mask fits my mini horse perfectly. I wish someone could figure out how to make a trim on the mask that didn’t attract buyers. The trim on this ne is t as wide as most.

Has held up very well and has stayed on. My horse is not gentle on his gear. It’s even withstood the nip you in the face/neck game without getting damaged or even pulled off.
My only complaint is the size chart is wonky. I carefully measured following the diagram which told me to get a draft size. He’s a 17 hand Percheron cross so I didn’t think that sounded wrong. The draft size was WAY to big. The warmblood size was much better – it was a little big but I’m sure the next size down would be too small.
If you have mud in you pasture make sure you wash it regularly. Mud in the mesh drastically limits vision. I washed it with a hose at least once a week.
Not super important, but I love the color. It looks great on my guy but it’s too loud. It also makes it easier to keep straight which mask belongs to who.

Die Maske passt gut, ist sauber und ordentlich verarbeitet und macht einen soliden Eindruck. Habe die Maske auf Grund des UV-Schutzes gekauft. Ich denke, das Gewebe erfüllt diese Schutzfunktion. Würde die Maske wieder kaufen.

The Cashel Crusader is sturdy enough for my quarter horse and in rotation with my other Cashel Crusader mask should survive the summer. I keep two so that I can wash them once every week or so to keep the dust and hair to a minimum. He has high cheek bones and another brand of mask wore the hair right off even with soft fabric added. The Cashel sits a little longer on his face and I don’t have any problems with hair loss.
I like the addition of the “designer” fabric and I hope that they continue to innovate and make this line. The mask is soft enough not to rub without the faux “fur” edging (on other brands) which is far too warm for 100°+ summer temps.
My quarter horse does rub his head and his mask has some wear spots but is holding up well. If your horse destroy masks, this might not be a good choice. My draft cross can destroy one of these masks within a day or so. (He wears the other brand of mask that rubs the hair off of my quarter horse. The sturdier brand is Kensington.)
All in all, the designer fabric make these cute, it seems to be cooler for the horse, and the cut and structure of the Cashel Crusader Designer Fly Mask works wonderfully for my less destructive horse.

Great mask. Stays on my horse. Most masks she rubs off and I have to go looking in the pasture for it. This one she hasn’t rubbed off. Quality seems good and lasts. Comes in different colors and sizes. Good value for your money.

This is hands-down my favorite fly mask! It’s incredibly durable—I’ve been using it for a while now and it’s held up beautifully. I especially love that it doesn’t have the extended nose or ear covers. Those always seem to get ripped off by my horse or his pasture buddies. This mask stays secure, fits well, and actually lasts. If you’re looking for something simple, tough, and effective, this is the one!

These are the best fly mask on the market! They hold up incredibly well, I have had some for 8 years. So easy to use. I wash them after each season and store them until the next season.
