- IMPROVED STRAPS and buckle – We heard you! Based on your feedback, we have upgraded our chicken diapers with more secure and comfortable straps and buckles to provide extra stability and ensure that the straps stay put. If your bird is wiggly and/or the poop pouch just would not stay put over the vent, use any clip/paper clip/velcro strip to fasten the straps in place, right above the bird’s tail.
- EASY TO WEAR, Adjustable – Our design has been tested and iterated on over 10+ times to ensure the perfect fit. You can either have your chicken step into the diaper or strap the diaper around your chicken. Adjust the straps as necessary to ensure a snug fit. Note: The straps should fit snugly in the nook/armpit of your chicken’s wings. It should NOT restrict any freedom of movement of the wings.
- Premium fabric – Made of premium materials, this ultra-soft, durable fabric provides the highest level of comfort for your chickens! The Stars USA and Buffalo Plaid diapers feature a more water resistant fabric than the other colors. Outer shell: Polyester blend. Inner lining: Linen, Cotton. Waterproof Pouch: Vegan Leather Hand washing is recommended to preserve the diaper’s longevity.
- Leak-Proof, No Mess – Comes with a Waterproof Poop Pouch that is large enough to fully cover the vent and catch all poop. If needed, clip the straps right above the chicken’s tail to keep the poo pouch in place. You can also purchase additional disposable pads (ASIN B0DGZFTG3C) from our Amazon store to make clean up even easier.

It has to be super tight in order to work for my rooster. When I put it on him in a firm but comfortable for him way, his pooo misses the mark and ends up in the floor. One of the straps came off, pulled thru the stitches as I was trying to tighten it, had to re-sew it. For $26, I shouldn’t have to re-sew or tighten it so tight poor guy couldn’t walk or hardly breath. Plus it was too constrictive on his crop. There’s gotta be a better way.
Although my roo is not a fan of wearing it, I absolutely love it! It fits him well and contains all mess. He can’t pull it off…bonus! It’s well made and the straps adjust quite a bit so it will fit a good range of birds. It’s also adorable. –
Well, my rooster absolutely hates wearing it. I think it is a wonderful addition to having a house chicken. It has a cute print and well-made design with adjustable straps to fit a range of different size birds. He can’t pull it off, it contains his mess and it’s hilarious for the first 5 minutes he’s wearing it and acts like he’s dying. I will be purchasing more in the future.

It is adjustable but the straps aren’t good. I constantly have to adjust it. My chicken missed many times.

What a mess!

I have used many different brands of chicken diapers. These are clearly an easy the best! Easy on easy off lightweight washable, and fit great.

Sadly, these chicken diapers didn’t work for us at all. The snaps were physically impossible — for me — to open. I broke a nail and injured my thumb trying to do so. The diapers are also very small. I live with a large rooster, and it would have required about four of these to fit him. Perhaps these will work for others, but they did not work for us.

Okay so this DOESNT fit my huge rooster that I bought if for (he’s like… really big). But I put it on a hen today for the first time and it worked SO well! I’m so impressed! We will definitely be using it quite a bit in the future because my husband INSISTS on letting hens come hang out in the house and we just bought an expensive Greek wool rug… so…. 🤷🏻♀️
Very grateful for this! Might even have to get a couple more.
The large sized diaper fit a standard sized hen perfectly but the straps were all the way extended. Not even sure if it would fit my huge Lavender Orpington hen, but I’m certain that we will find out soon enough!

It fits our Rhode Island Red rooster perfectly. He’s an 8lb. boy, fully feathered, and spoiled beyond belief. Like with any chicken diaper though, you will need to clean it regularly. It does not need an insert, it does hold all types of smelly poultry “presents” without leaking. If this is your first time having a house chicken, I recommend buying at least three of these diapers so you always have a diaper on hand. Just rinse dirty ones out, Lysol, and hang dry until ready to use again. If you find yourself diaperless, use a plastic “Walmart” aka grocery bag. Slip each handle over a wing and make sure the back end, including tail feathers, are in the bag. It works in a pinch.
