I purchased this brand a few years back and it has lasted for years. I recently ordered this one for my donkey. He loves it! Even though it’s for horses, it fits great for him. It has enough room for his ears and it’s not to long on his face. I love the mint color. Durability is excellent. He rubs and doesn’t tear it or get it off. It has double security on the velcro, so it stays on. It is easy to get on and off. I have even thrown my previous ones like this in the washer and they did great. It’s soft on the trim so no rubbing or irritation there. It is worth the price since it lasts for multiple seasons for me. Great product!

Fly season came early this year. I had ordered two of these for my quarter horses. One of them has a larger head and the other one has a more average head. The masks fit really well on both of them. There is a little stretch in the strap, so that is a great feature. They seem really well made. I usually buy more expensive ones, but I thought I would try these and I am so glad I did. So far so good. I think they will hold up well. I also bought the fly boots and they seem equally as nice as the more expensive ones. I like that they match the fly masks. I love the colors, and if anything comes off, they should be easier to spot with the bright colors.

Honestly this was a little disappointing. My pony is 13.2hh and wears cob size and sometimes large pony because she has a refined head. I ordered this in Cob and it fit well with room to spare. Even so, the way the eye darts are sewn the mask gets uncomfortably close to her eyes. I could see her blinking a ton through the mask after I put it on. It got too dirty to return which is unfortunate because now it lives on the bottom of my tack bin as my backup fly mask.
I do like how the earless design is. The fact that its like an open oval instead of having two holes for the ears is a style that in my experience prevents them from rubbing the ear area raw. The fleece is nice but a bit floofy and caught burrs easily, but if your paddock don’t have burrs then the plush fleece would be comfy for the horse. It’s easy to put on and take off for human and not so easy for the horse, which is a plus.
Overall I wish i could use it but my pony rubs her eyes more than usual when she wears it and I think its due to the way the darts are sewn. Maybe my particular mask was juat sewn poorly but eye clearance is something to be mindful of if you buy it. It doesnt touch her eyes but it seems to brush against her eyelashes and bother her.

Average horse size fits great on my OTTB and AQHA. Super secure velcro, have yet to walk the pastures looking for lost mask. Really liked them, so ordered Yearling/Pony size for my hard to fit mini donkey and mini mule. Velcro was a bit long, but they do fit and hold great with minimal adjusting of the closure.

This definitely fits a horse with a thinner and longer head. I tried it on my quarter horses, but their jaw lines were too big. I use it for my thoroughbred and it’s a perfect fit. To keep the mesh from folding near his eye, I turn it inside out and hang it and in the morning I turn it right side out and the mesh doesn’t fold into his eyes. I’ll be buying this again. Good quality.
