This rain sheet is a great basic item to have in your tack room! It fits well, is waterproof and is made of heavy enough fabric that it will last for years. It has standard buckle closures at the chest and adjustable surcingles at the belly. It also has elastic leg straps that can be removed and replaced if necessary. I like having elastic leg straps because it allows me to adjust them tighter than I would if they were not elastic so they’re not hanging down for the horse to step on. It stays in place well and fits well. My horse is a 16.3 hand Andalusian who is on the long side, but this blanket fits him well in the shoulders as well as length. He has large shoulders, so the generous cut and shoulder gussets really help. I like the two tone colors, especially with the darker color at the bottom so that it doesn’t show dirt from when the horse lays down.
It is 0% fill so it is just a rain sheet, which is nice because sometimes we have bad weather here in Texas, but it is still warm enough that you do not want to put a blanket on with a lot of fill and overheat the horse. Most of the horse blankets I have are of this type.

Material , insulation very good , It did have a slight rip back hip , I didn’t notice My girlfriend did , but my horse had already worn it . The other thing are the belly straps locking and unlocking is very difficult .

Happy with this purchase. Fits nicely and is a good sturdy quality. We only have bitter cold for short spurts where I live, so this hasn’t been worn a ton. But has held up nicely so far.
