My horse was pasture board. But suffered an injury and has been on stall rest for what feels an eternity. He doesnt like it ( trazadone am and pm) so I wanted to get things to keep him busy . I don’t know why, but my horse hasn’t figured out he can lick the thing. And I tried different “flavors”.
So this just hangs out in his stall .
So not sure how to rate. For its ” toy/ boredom buster” aspect, it’s not working for us.

I will note I didn’t realize the actual treat block was sold separately but that’s okay. Hence why you see I used two apples instead until I ordered and received the block 😆 I bought this for my gelding who has a busy brain is needs to be stall rested for several weeks. Safe to say he loves it! It’s great, durable quality and very well priced. The block smells like actual apples, it’s a decent size and palatable for licking and chewing.

My mom’s horse was skeptical at first but we had him taste the molasses refill and then had him watch us hang it and worked with him until he realized he could get it anytime and now he loves it and it really lasts a long time too. The ball is great because after the fear of it was over, he likes knocking it around now in between licks. Great price and holds up to a bored horse and his playfulness. So easy to assemble and change out a new snack.

Didn’t realize it doesn’t come with the likit, which I am still waiting for…. Otherwise seems sturdy and easy to use. I haven’t put it up for my horse yet because it doesn’t have the yummy treat yet!!!

Our horses are happy with these. I wished I had of read that the combo does not come with the licks. But my own fault! Great product.

Hit or miss. This was a miss for us. Horse barely knows it’s there. May be more of an annoyance than anything for him but that’s fine too. Gives him something to think about, when cruising around his stall. That said, it does seem like a quality piece of equipment, though some horses might tear up the plastic.

DOES NOT COME WITH THE SNACK FILL! Apparently that has to be bought separately. I wish I wouldve realized this, so I could’ve ordered a snack fill at the same time, so both items would arrive here at the same time. Now my horse has to wait until I can get yhe snack part of it. Otherwise a great toy! We have had many jolly ball type toys and they all last a very long time, no matter the weather they endure.
**UPDATE** Irecieved the flavored “snack part” (separately sold) and I finally set it all up today for my mare. Went down for the PM feeding and she has eaten ALL of the stall snack! I was extra careful to install it correctly so that the whole snack wouldnt come out at once. I am definetly NOT HAPPY with this product at all! And I now have to watch my $10k horse and make sure I dont have to have the vet over in the middle of the night for Colic!! My eating on this product went from 4 stars, now to 1. I would give ZERO if it was an option!! Now my horses health isn’t risk! I cannot believe these things are being sold!
