My birds love this stuff, but I couldn’t get it at the local pet stores anymore. Fortunately, I found it here and it’s even a better price then when the pet stores had it.

It a great mix of small to medium seeds and pellets, and in a small scoop something special usually pops up, like shell peanuts or an occasional dried pepper or banana chip. My bird, a stubborn seed junky Amazon parrot just loves it, and actually eats pellets better with this than anything else I’ve tried. It seems pretty substantial so we’re sticking with it!

The parrots here like it. A good blend and perfect when pellets are also introduced.

I’ve been extremely impressed with Kaytee Forti-Diet Pro Health Nourish+Protect Parrot Food. From the very first week, I noticed a positive change in my parrot’s overall energy, digestion, and feather condition. It’s clear this formula is thoughtfully made and truly backed by science, not just marketing claims.
My parrot took to it right away—no picking through the bowl or leaving half of it untouched. The blend looks fresh, well-balanced, and appropriately sized, and I appreciate knowing it supports digestive health and immune function rather than just filling them up.
Since switching to this food, digestion has been more consistent, droppings look healthier, and my bird seems more alert and content. The added immune support gives me peace of mind, especially knowing how important proper nutrition is for long-term health.
Overall, this is a high-quality, comprehensive parrot food I feel confident feeding daily. I’ll absolutely continue purchasing it and would highly recommend it to any parrot owner who wants the best for their bird.

We buy several different seed mixes for our 28 year old parrot. She gets 1/2 cup of seed a day along with fresh fruits, vegetables and almonds. She is very healthy. Her feathers are beautiful. We know she is getting everything she needs in her diet. This bag of seed lasts a long time since we add it to several other varieties of seeds. The size of bag is good. The seed always looks fresh. We love our beautiful African Grey Parrot and want to give her good quality foods so she can live a long healthy life.

I just reordered this parrot food for our African Grey parrot. It arrived nicely packaged and in good condition. Our parrot has always enjoyed this seed mix, however, it is NOT good to feed African Grey’s just seed diets. We supplement her diet with many fresh fruits, vegetables, almonds and occasionally other foods. I feel good giving her this seed along with a varied diet. It always seems fresh and she is a very cheerful, healthy, playful girl.

It’s the only thing my parrot likes to eat. One thing, however, why put dog food in the bag? Oscar won’t eat it and even the wild birds won’t touch it. I gave some to my son’s dog. he wouldn’t eat it either. Other than that it’s great. Four stars, it would get five but for the dog food.

Good bargain feed but not to be fed as consistent daily diet.
