These work great! They’re durable and well really well made. They keep our new puppy out of the bathroom where the kitty’s litter box is and they’re easy enough to use that my kids have no trouble with them. It took less than a minute to open the package and have it on the bathroom door.

Our 68 lab recently discovered our cat’s litterbox so we needed something that would keep the door open for the cat but would stop our lab. This was perfect! Wasn’t horrible expensive and is movable to different doors if we needed to change doors. I think the little adjustable strap is what really works. Super easy to assemble ( just the door knob size and adjusting and the metal piece slides into the scooped out latch area. We’ve heard our lab try to get in using her nose and head and it’s held beautifully. So nice to know that this works, is not super expensive and can work on other doors if needed. I think it would also work on larger labs too. So pleased!

These are great for keeping doors open enough for the cat but keeps the dogs out. Unless you own a malnois cross and then she will figure out how to turn long lever handles to disable these.
There are handy snap in pieces that help seat them around round door handles and the adjustable pieces are handy for most sized cats. If your cat is very large width wise, you may find this isn’t the product for you.

Easy to use, no tools required. Depending on your type of knobs, you may need a bit of creative force to push this over the handle, but this just means that once on it won’t fall off. Keeps the door closed enough for privacy, but open enough for the cat to come and go. Easy to open and close the door with the latch. Sturdy for everyday use of coming and going. Allows a bit of airflow, but if a room tends toward stuffy then you will need to pair this with some sort of fan or similar to encourage air movement since the door is basically mostly closed with only a small draft-way. I have bought multiple packages of these for the many many doors in my older home (not open floor plan at all!) and both I and my cat love them.

Awesome lil gadget! Easy to install and use. Keeps the dog out of my room but let’s my cat come in and out! The adjustable to get the correct gap in the door for different size pets so it would be perfect for dogs too!

After moving to a new home we needed to find a good spot for the litter box. To avoid having to cut a kitty door into a slab door, we decided to try this to keep the door propped open. It works pretty well and is rigid enough to keep the door open for the cats, but keep the dog out. It unhooks easily when I need to go into the room. Every once in a while when I do that, it will go swinging around and fly off the lever-style door handle and the curved piece that snaps into place (the cat shape’s “chin”) has popped off but easily snaps back in. Overall, this has been a good option until we decide what to do about a cat door.

These work wonders if you have a dog you want to keep out of certain rooms. We feed our cats in a bedroom and use this on the door. The cats can come and go as they please but our dog can’t get into that room to eat the cat food. You can leave it on the door when not in use, and when you want to use it just put the one end into the hole where the door closes. Great invention.

I was surprised at how easy this is to use, and how effective. It slips over the door handle, and the little bolt fits into the latch hole on the door frame in a way that is sturdy, but pretty easy for a person to undo. Thick plastic, seems like it will last. Keeps dogs out and lets the cats in. Great value for very little $.
