My bird loves it!! She also has a large cage, a play ground, and training perches. She likes to go inside this portable cage and snack on seeds and drink water. It has a large cage door which opens to the top and stays open, so it’s safe and easy for my bird to go in and out whenever she wants. It’s very well designed and functional. Perfect portable cage!!

After looking at many little portable travel cages, this one seemed to have good reviews. Received it and was simple to put together just basically snapped in place and ready to go sturdy and fits my one cocktail. I basically got this to just have her dry out in the sun after I gave her a bath , so she wouldn’t fly away. But you can use it as a little travel cage too

This carrier is cute and compact, a good option for transporting our Jenday Conure. It was easy to assemble and attach the perch, though we aren’t sure if we will use it yet, if we do, we will add vet wrap to the dowel for added comfort and grip for our bird. If not we’ll replace it for one of her rope perches. We like that it has a grate at the bottom as it allows for all her poops to fall to the bottom and away from her feet if she were to climb down. The plastic attachments keep the bottom and top of the cage together and so far it feels secure.
Upon showing our bird the carrier she got spooked so we are in the process of introducing her to it slowly so as to not stress her out. We want her to have a positive association to it rather than negative. I did remove one star though because we did not receive the water or food attachments which was a real bummer. Other than that, it seems sturdy, secure, and safe to use for birds. However if you have a bird that loves to chew on the bars of the cage, be wary of buying this cage as we never know what type of coating is used. Even if the coating is safe, sometimes the metal under can be toxic. Just something to keep in mind when buying any kind of bird carrier or cage from no name brands.

1st one arrived crushed.
2nd one was damaged and coating scraped off in spots with sharp points around the door that could injure my bird.
Sad because this cage would have been roomy enough with a wide door for my cockateils trips for grooming and vet visits.

It is ok temporarily if you do not want your bird to move around very much, I have a cockatiel with no tail feathers so she fits but barley definitely a hard no for cockatiels with their tail feathers

I absolutely love this Portable Bird Travel Carrier Cage! It’s very well designed — sturdy, lightweight, and easy to carry. The 360° full-view wire design lets my cockatiel see everything around him, which keeps him calm during car rides and vet visits.
The locking door feels secure, and I really appreciate the included feeder, water cup, and perch — everything my bird needs while traveling. Cleaning is super easy too, which makes it convenient for frequent use.

Nearly every time I pick up the cage to move it, the bottom falls off. It does not stay popped in very well around the bottom. The cage arrived slightly bent so that may have something to do with it, but looking at how it pops together it does not seem very secure even if it was not bent. Putting on a couple of latches likely would have helped tremendously with that issue.
The food dish stays on ok, but the water (if full) likes to tip and spill.
