These diapers are cute and have potential. The material is easy to clean.
I got the medium size for my two Orphington house chickens. They both learned to put up with the diaper in short order. Getting the fit adjusted right on their vent without being too tight takes some guesswork and bird wrangling, but I did manage to collect some nuggets by the end of the day. The width of the fabric seems to have trouble when the hens have a full crop off to their starboard side, so it doesn’t stay centered well. The little bow doesn’t slide along their back, so I tied the straps together ahead of their tail to keep it from sliding off to one side.
It’s an ok item and a valid idea, but I think they should be sold in pairs for the price point. They take time to dry after use and cleaning, mine weren’t just dry nuggets at the end of the day. I don’t think I’ll be ordering another, but something like this might prove worth putting on them every day they get to come inside.
