Exceptional Review –
I could not be happier with this corner hide it is solid my 8 foot fancy ball python crashed the last hide that I got. But He has wrapped up this one and it still is in one piece. Which keeps the snake from cutting itself on the broken pieces.

This is a very nice cave I use it for a tenrec,it’s not a really big one,more medium sized but it’s a nice rock and can be climbed on and enough room for 1 tenrec to have a party.

Shops Too Much –
It’s full of little sharp edges and corners, you could very easily cut yourself from picking it up from the wrong angle. I did not trust to put this in my enclosure and *not* have it injure my snake. I had to sand it down completely to make it safe. So while it looks nice, it shouldn’t have been sent off in the state it was in the first place.

Large hide that looks nice and is well made. There are sharp points throughout inside and out, but don’t let that discourage you. I used my coarsest nail file and smoothed it down all over until I was satisfied that I could run my hand over it without my skin catching. A piece of sandpaper or a foam sanding block would work perfectly. After it was sanded, I washed with a bit of dish soap and hot water. Then it went into my ball python enclosure on the “hot and humid side”.
My snake is 1.5 years old and over 24″. Fits with plenty of room to spare. It looks like it can fit two of him in there at the moment. The top of the hide is nice and low so even though the hide is big at the moment, he still feels secure inside. He also comes out to bask on top. He loves it and that’s the most important thing.
Exceptional Review –
Does not look as real as in the pictures, there is crappy white paint all over it that makes it look like a bird’s toilet. Plastic looking and not very convincing. Will have to re-paint to get it to look decent.

My kids are always asking to keep the toads and turtles they find outside playing and while we always return to where we find them, we wanted to build a little habitat for visiting friends. This hideout rock is a great addition. It’s large size allows the toads to hide and feel safer and it looks natural. Recommend for lizards to bask as well.

This is a neat product that served its purpose. The fixture doesn’t look as realistic as it does in the photo which is why I’ve left a 4 stat review instead of 5. It does appear to be high quality overall. My outdoor toad is using it albeit in a different manner than it’s intended for 😂

This is a good hide. The size isn’t as large as I hoped it would be. My adult sized ball python (about 4.5ft) can stuff himself in there. I use it to cover the entrance to his underground hide. Not too heavy material but it is sturdy. If used as a hide only I’d say a smaller snake or lizard would fit more comfortable.
