for the money these cost, all three fell apart immediately. One stick arrived detached, and all three have had the wings fall off, and it is not even that windy! very poorly made, and having to mess with super glues annoys the heck out of me. Haven’t tested whether the super glue will hold as the wings are so flimsy anyway. Do not buy. I wasted ten bucks on the cheapest made dragonflies ever.

I am as skeptical as anyone on earth when it comes to reported claims of product performance and I was skeptical about this product as well. For years each spring we were inundated with all kinds of flying pests, wasps, hornets and especially Carpenter bees. I put these in places they normally congregate. And after two days I have not see a single flying insect anywhere. I’m not saying they’ll work for you. But I’m totally impressed. They worked for me. The picture shows the carpenter bee’s favorite spot. And not a single carpenter bee since using the dragonflies.

I bought this one and another more expensive set from a different seller. This set was good quality. The other is going back. The dragonflies are connected well to the clip and can be clipped in any position and stay where you put them once the wire is bent the intended direction. The wings seem to be well connected to the body and flap nicely in the breeze. While it isn’t a complete fix for the black flies, there are definitely fewer. I’d call any reduction in flies a win. Plus the dragonflies look cute in the yard.
